It is with an absolutely gutted and devastated heart that I inform you all that LMWS's Sugar, Alpinarc Demands Attention had two pups vaginally then failed to progress. Subsequently has died as have 12 pups.
I do not have all the information but will update when LMWS can gather her thoughts.
OH no. I am so very sorry LMWS. I am thinking of you and you know I am here if you need an ear.
Hugs to you

My girl is day 59 from 1st mating. Have had one indicator of stage one, the mucus discharge, this was 36 hours ago. So I'm expecting we'll have bubba's by MondayYarrowfell, when is your girl due? Normally the drop of 1 degree means puppies withing 12-24hrs and I have found it very reliable. the temp does vary from morning to night but with some of your temps I would have expected puppies on the 7th. Having said that she may be naturally low which some of them are in the last week
She is due today (11th) which is 63 days from the 1st mating. Current temp 36.6
Good luck

If its very warm we usually fill a hot water bottle with cold water cover with a towel and place in the box near them its amazing how fast they find it.My pups have been squealing on and off all afternoon! They are all putting on weight, all toileting, mum is doing everything right. It is very hot here though! I have never had a litter in the heat, usually I have to keep them warm. The room they are in in quite warm, but has ventilation and a fan. Any tips on keeping them the ideal temp? Our last litter was a summer time litter with above average temps and I also used frozen ice bricks at covered with a towel, but the ice water is the hot water bottles is better as the covers stay dry

If they do not give you the option of online for your obedience entries it seems a bit harsh to charge the extra 8 dollars for postal entries. Borders on dicrimination I would think

Very sadly, Sharden is no longer in business Leanne!!!!
I too have an Advantage! A 6 berth and I love it, the dogs love it......and I reckon the number of people I have shown around it at dog shows I have likely sold quite a few more.
I did the whole ring around as well as looking around at quality, durability and who was going to make me exactly what I wanted............and the base model of the Advantage was comparable in price to the base model Toledo (which would have been my 2nd choice) and a bit more than the Norking (my third choice) and then it is just a matter of what additions and upgrades that you add that changes the price....
however.......the decision came when.......
On going to the Adavantage factory I was priveldged to see a Advantage dog trailer that had been rear-ended. I know I know, your worst nightmare to have another car plow into the back of your trailer. The back of the trailer was badly damaged, however on inspection the bays inside were completely untouched except for a tiny dint about the size of a 10 cent piece in one of them.......the report was the dogs were completely unhurt. Peter from Advantage explained about the crumple zone in the back and that was it........I was sold. Yes, the budget is important when buying a dog trailer but to me, the safety of my dogs and the peace of mind that they are secure and safe is worth paying for.....
.
Other factors that made the decision a complete NO BRAINER when deciding to get an Advantage dog trailer was......
a) local made......supporting a small Victorian company is important to me
b) the guys are great and encouraged me to 'drop by' any time to see the production in process (again it takes honest workmanship to have that kind of offer) And I did drop by regularily and unannounced and were always welcomed and given a run down of where they were at and what they had done.
c) I could make any alteration that I wanted and they designed it just for me.......
d) The doors......triple latching doors (so the latch is not just in the middle, but at the top and bottom too) and when you have large dogs that like to bounce on the doors they cannot warp or twist as they are tightly held at two extra points. I have seen some trailers that bow out at the top of the doors due to the dogs banging on them. The inside grill doors are locked with the same security door style mechanism as the outside.
e) They also build caravans and so the trailer is built to caravan specifications including the double insulation and chassis.
f) In the front wardrobe I can fit.......2 x oztrail deluxe, 4 x XL soft crates, 8 x packets of walls, 2 floor mats, 3 cooktops, 2 fold up tables and 3 tarps......and a few more bits and pieces.
I was amazed, I wasn't sure they gazebo would fit in the side doors but I took one down there and tried it out on the one they had there and it fitted fine. Honestly the wardrobe doesn't look that big but it is very decieving....I fit an amazing amount in there!!!!
g) the berths are lined with a spray on rubber that is completely washable, each berth has a seperate drain for easy cleaning!!!!!!!!
h) I also added a galvanised chassis so you never have to worry about rusting underneath, 100lt water tank underneath with a battery operated water pump, battery for the water pump and also will run the interior lights if the trailer is unhitched, gas bottle ring on the a-frame, half walls so blankets cannot get weaved through the berths and alloy wheels
i) And also that its easy to for 2 women to push around when unhitched.
Honestly the Advantage dog trailer is the best investment I have ever made......I love it, the dogs love it and I wouldn't be without it. After some other reports I have heard I am so VERY glad I didn't get a Norking or a Toledo.
In its first 5 months it has been to 5 interstate trips and even down bad country dirt roads, heavy traffic and has towed like a dream, 110km/h on the highway and you dont even know it was there.
I recommend going and having a chat to Peter and John...........
Can I just ask if you can tell me if a C-Crates Maxi Trolley x 2 would fit in the Wardrobe???
