The first few days I had Oscar there was no biting just licking but he is now more comfortable. I live in Fitzroy in Melbourne. Does anyone know of any puppy training schools in the area. I am going to call the local vet to find a puppy school.

Oscar my 8 week old spanielXpoodle is starting to bite a lot. I have chew toys and try to take his focus off chewing on me but its gone from him chewing on my toes to now my fingers and even trying to bite my face when I pick him up when he gets excited. I am not sure what sort of action I can take and if he is just teething and it will go away on its own. I am concerned if I dont do something now he might hurt a child who goes to pat him.

Thanks everyone. Great hint with the wee and then the poo inside. It just happened then. I turned my back and he came inside and did a poo inside. I will make sure I keep him out for a bit longer and not play for a while after the wee so he does not lose concerntration.

I have just become a proud mum to spoodle puppy Oscar who is 8 weeks old. I am just wondering what is the best method of toilet training. I got the pads and its been a bit of a hit and miss. I have taken him out into my courtyard and he now and then goes out to do his business. Any tips would be great. I am also not familiar with this crate technic and if I should try it.
