  1. Thats right if anyone finds a park they want to use suggest it!
  2. To be honest Joelle I dont think a lot of people make the connection...someone on my fb was saying they had mice, what should they do, sooo many people said 'get ratsak' I got on and said "you've got 4 dogs, if you get ratsak you will have no dogs, think about it"
  3. This is a photo of my Canadian friends 'Purebred' Miniature Australian Shepherd...I have a distinct feeling I can see some Sheltie in that face
  4. Joelle Im so sorry to hear this...how is your son coping? RIP Jakey boy
  5. Ive been told Toni Lynch at Malaney is good, some people at agility swear by her, I havnt been to see her but Im considering it
  6. Hey Flick, It won't be big I doubt we will have many more than 6 -7 if we are lucky I am comfortable with you bringing Louie no problems, as I said to you yesterday (maybe you were talking to me not GG85 LOL) that I have had the same issue with my older dog so completely understand. As long as everyone is aware and keeps an eye on there dogs I doubt there will be issues, and if you bring a crate you can always crate him if he is playing up Someone asked about the fencing, I am unsure at this stage but will probably take a trip down to check it out this week as I am on holidays, so me and Phi will go for a ride and have a look at the park and make sure its fully fenced etc and I will let you know as soon as I get back Can't wait will be a good meet. Re: Food I will check if there is BBQ's and get back to you also then we can start planning who will bring what food as well. Thanks. Yeah lol that wasnt me you were talking to, I was the one with Lexi, K&P had Tess at woofstock I wont be bringing Tess to the meet so Im happy for you to bring Louie
  7. Im going to start PMing anyone who has shown interest for the month, that way we might not get as many people forget lol, if you are interested add your name to the list, Ill pop everyone a PM on the Thursday before to remind everyone March meet 1 - GG85 with Lexi 2 - K&P with Phoenix 3 - Dandy with Raz (will be late) 4 - F_M with
  8. Yep sounds good, do they have bbq's there? just thinking that would be a real good idea if we all bring a bit of meat and a salad...yum
  9. Had a great time with everyone today...Dandy we did seem to lose you at one point though...where did you disappear to? There was a small incident between Tess and Kyojin...not sure exactly what happened but it ended with Tess being in Kyojins mouth, she is fine, has a few puncture wounds, but otherwise she is ok...no hard feelings Minxy! was just an accident It wasnt as big as I was expecting but I still managed to spend up big lol
  10. Ok we are heading in, those who havnt found us try and catch us in there
  11. And Ill be there with a Golden and a JRT (or Ill have a Golden and K&P will be there with the JRT lol)
  12. Tess gets high on cane toads, but she acts nothing like Dobby in that video lol, she gets all fidgety and clamps her jaw open and closed, and her eyes get all glazed
  13. I cant wait!!! K&P Im going to PM you my number just encase lol
  14. Im keen on the Mermaid Waters one, I think its a great idea to make a day of it, we can probably even stop in at the spit and let the doggies run in the ocean! I wont be in town for the April one, so if everyone else is Southside feel free to make it a Southside meet lol
  15. I guess.... as long as she doesn't make the leap to the warm blooded feathery toys ;) She's a Goldie, it would have to be a slow bird Mind you, my old boy caught a water rat the other night, but I think jumping off the cliff assisted his speed... Out of my two Id be more worried about my JRT getting birds than my Goldie lol...
  16. Ok, Ive been tracking this thread on my phone lol I went and got a few bird toys today, K-mart had a rubber squeaky chicken but not the one posted above, they also had a plush squeaky chicken, so I got both of those, I also went to National Geographic and got a parrot from there...parrot was a big hit lol, she loves it The whole aim of this is to get some drive out of her, these toys will only come out when I want her to work for me @GR and GayleK...ummm, no, especially considering what I came home to today
  17. My Golden is bird crazy, so much that she will pick up feathers etc on a walk...I had always found this to be a distraction, until I started thinking that this could be used for her training... So anyway, I need ideas on some very bird like toys to use as rewards for her, I was suggested to use a feather duster, which works well, but its not an easy toy to use, and I can only imagine her taking it off to chew on...Id forever be buying them!!! add to the fact that the only feather duster I could find was a very long stick like one, and I have a feeling my last flatmate was hitting her....she is happy until she thinks she is going to get hit with the 'stick' I did have an idea to make a tug out of a feather boa...but for some reason that didnt have the desired effect on her ideas please! Smisch did tell me about a squeaky toy that quacks like a duck...but she wasnt able to find a link for one...
  18. All I knew was that they had to have over 50% of white markings on their body
  19. YAY!! well...yay for Tess, Awww for Phe...its for the best though baby girl
  20. Oh dandy that kedron brook one you wanted to check out is at northgate, near nudgee, so it's not really central
  21. Yeap 10.30 is fine with me, even if I do get there earlier Ill head back to the gate at that time Keira&Phoenix (with ??unsure) Minxy + OH (with Kyojin) & Friends (with BC) GoldenGirl85 (with Lexi and maybe Tess)
  22. Yep, one of these: Road Refresher http://www.roadrefresher.com/ Supposed to stop the slobber too! I bought mine from here http://www.sprout.net.au/road_refresher.html OH my doG!! That looks like the answer to all my troubles!! Does it actually work?? Is it large enough for big dogs??? Nope, I got one thinking it would stop Lexi from making a mess, but she still gets it everywhere ETA - It works great as a non spill, but as far as reducing slobber and drips...nope
  23. This way she'll be good to go for next meet You can have Tess, she wont like being left home alone, but it will be too much for me to handle two dogs in that sort of environment...Tess is a really easy dog lol Haha ok its settled I am Tessa's adoptive mum for the day Yay! Tess will be glad she gets to come! thanks! I will confirm this with you tomorrow. Just have to make sure I can book Phoenix in to be desexed when I want then I will know for sure. No worries
