Lol, I had a similar fb argument on a garage sale page, someone was wanting to sell her 'spoodle' and went on to say he isnt desexed and would make "such cute puppies"...I did get a lot of people tell me to get a life, but I finally got my point across after saying (god knows how many times they kept deleting my posts) "I dont care what you call your cross bred mutt, but take out the part about him making puppies" Of course I did have a really nice photo of my purebred Golden in my profile pic lol

Working reproductive organs maybe? Me and a friend used to have loads of fun reading through Horse Deals magazine...can't get past the line which often appears on mares "can be bred", which just means "has a uterus"...doesnt mean it should get used...

Actually you can, it is possible for your immune system to 'forget' about the antibodies your body produces when you have a vaccine (or the disease), especially if you have the vaccine/disease very young I had the rubella vaccine as a baby, when I was 8 I caught it, I got revaccinated in the school program at 14. This year I had to get a blood test to show if I had antibodies for rubella for work...surprisingly I did, but after being exposed to it 3 times in my youth Id hope I am immune lol

I think she has closed her business down...she was clearing out a lot of stock in the marketplace, could be wrong, but she did mention not having the time to build the website to its full potential My mum bought some of those boot covers you can get, those things that protect your socks, they were the right size and stiff enough that the dogs couldnt shake their ears out of them lol sock savers like these

Lol, this reminds me of the thread someone posted about how 'you know you've got a purebred Staffy if it has 5 moles on its face' lol, people are so stupid :D I had someone tell me one day that you can tell you have a 'pure well bred Cavalier' when they have the spot on their head...too bad its really only the blenheims that have the spot...the other colours must not be pure or well bred (I had my mums blenheim Cavalier with me at the time and *lucky* she has the spot) lmao I have a mantle dane with a spot on his head..........................is he really a Cav? Wow he must be really rare...its a shame Molly is desexed because we could make a fortune on the puppies, I mean Molly did come on a limit register, but as if the breeder will find out we bred her...

How do you tell him to come? do you sound grumpy? or do you sound fun and happy? sometimes you really have to think about it, but the dogs can pick up on any changes in your voice, and if you're getting frustrated that he wont come to you...well if I was him Id be going to the stranger too!

Thats my thought...my Golden is NOT cat friendly, she thinks they are amazingly fun chase toys lol, but she hasnt been raised with a cat, and has only met a cat on the odd occasion

Have a look at the K9+ crates on ebay, you also get a free carry bag with them...and I do like the roll down flaps, even if its just for wind protection, given the extras the k9pro crate isn't that much cheaper I also like the water bottles you can get for the k9+ crates, but I dont know if my ditz would work it out lol

Heres the most important question...What do you think of the crate? Im still tossing up between the K9Pro one and the K9+ one...I dont know which one to get!

I can see where this one comes from though, the correct grammar would be "I should have gone to the shops earlier" but we have shortened it to "I should've" which has then become "I should of" I know but it still annoys me 'of' and 'have' are two completely different meanings Lol I know the feeling, for me its advice and advise, Ive lost count of the number of times Ive seen a thread titled "Advise needed on ..........." at one point there was so many, I felt like making my own thread similar to this regarding the differences between the words advice and advise

How often do you see 'purebred Maltese Shih Tzu's for sale, I think they have taken over the 'Maltese Terrier' of the byb world and people think this is an actual breed

Why do you say that? Because at the end of the day the colour means squat, I love the blue merle BCs, but if the right dog comes up, at the right time, and it happens to be a B&W...so what? I could get my pretty blue merle, and it could totally suck at agility, where as I could get a B&W who is from sporting lines and it might become a champion...I know there are no guarantees when it comes to breeding, but the right lines are at the top of my list A very wise way to go about things. I hope your perfect dog is out there for you when you're ready. Thanks lol, I was hoping my post wouldnt come across the wrong way, I really would love a blue merle, but Im not holding out for it, and Im not going to buy a dog based on its colour...heck when the time comes I might be right off dog sports (not likely) and Ill be after a different breed...another consideration is an Aussie, but I really like my dogs to have tails lol, and I dont think Aussie breeders will like it if I ask for a blue merle with a tail lmao People asking for a certain tail status certainly isn't unusual. I think very few breeders would be offended. :p Yes when we were thinking about getting a second Aussie we specifically wanted one with a full tail only. None of the breeders I spoke with were offended at all Good, now just to do a lot of research on each breed to figure out which one would suit me better
