  1. I didn't think of a bird bowl, she is only little (5kg) Ill boil the bowls tomorrow and see if that works, thanks
  2. Hmm, she does still eat out of one though, and this is over night...surely she wouldn't see a reflection at night time
  3. I should mention Lexi will still drink out of either bowl...but she is a Golden Retriever lol, she will eat anything
  4. Ill try this It took me long enough to find a hanging S/S bowl...don't like my chances of finding a hanging plastic bowl, I wont leave a bowl in her crate unless its hanging especially through winter, I'm worried she will knock it over and she will be wet all night The porcelain bowl is huge and would take up a lot of her crate, but Im sure she would Tried this today, she won't drink out of it Yes she will
  5. Topic says it all, I have S/S water bowls for my dogs crates (the hanging kind), they both used to drink out of them fine, but all of a sudden Tess has suddenly (well probably a good 6 weeks ago now) decided she wont drink water out of them, there has been a few times when I didn't refill their porcelain bowl because their S/S ones were full and by the time Ive come home from work what was left in the porcelain bowl is gone, and poor Tess is soo thirsty because she has refused to use the S/S one, even over night she wont drink out of it, she will wait until morning when she is let out of her crate. Needless to say I now make sure the porcelain one is full, but does anyone have any ideas of why she would suddenly stop using the S/S one? she eats out of a S/S bowl and always has done (different one though). I have tried scrubbing it out but I don't think S/S would retain any flavours that she doesn't like the taste of
  6. Well...they are the right colour lol
  7. Yep, I dont know the area at all so when you get there text me and tell me where you are lol
  8. Keira what time do you think you will get there? (both times lol)
  9. If you're looking for the ad think about what the DD name might be
  10. After finding the ad and looking at the pictures, I have to say that mum is a rather large 'JRT' (my guess is JRTxFoxie) still way to small to put with a Rottie though poor lass
  11. Keira is just a Heinz57 with mostly Bull Mastiff X Ridgie but a few other things Phoenix is an "Amstaff" ;) IYKWIM I wondered about that lol, you had always said she was Amstaff x something...but she looks an awful lot like a "Lab x SBT" that I met a while ago... He was a gorgeous...."lab x SBT" too lol ;)
  12. Yay!! I'm all booked in and paid for! can't wait for the seminar
  13. Im going to take the dogs for a run at Nudgee Beach tomorrow afternoon and check it out...hopefully its good for a meet
  14. I am unsure on how the 'poison' works on the body, but for the dog I saw get jabbed in the heart... he felt no pain I would think it would simply act quicker as the heart is the pump in the circulatory system, so it will get pumped around the body faster than it would by simply injecting a leg
  15. So true, the same often goes for children, it is often easier if the parents aren't there because it eases there anxiety, it's amazing what vibes our kids and pets pick up off us, even if we think we're calm
  16. This walk is going to be interesting to say the least LMAO
  17. Yes...Ive got one of those "horrible little jack russell terriers"...you know? Well, while I might call mine horrible sometimes, she is pretty damn good, well trained and mannered...most people just aren't used to seeing well bred and well trained dogs out there Good luck with your poodle, I really hope these are friends or acquaintances of yours and you can prove them wrong
  18. I like injecting directly into the heart too but unless they are unconscious I gas them down first. Ive only ever seen a couple of animals get PTS (work experience) one was a gorgeous Samoyed whose owner didn't want him anymore (apparently he bit someone) well, the vet injected this boy twice in the vein in his front leg, with no effect, so she did one last one directly into his heart...that did it Im never going to forget that dog, he was so gorgeous I do venepuncture (on people) every single day, sometimes you miss veins, and when the person is sick or elderly, it makes it that much harder, even if you can see the vein, those damn things roll away from the needle or they just blow if you go straight through it
  19. Give me a suburb love, I'm not a local :D Otherwise we can just write on the shirts...we can all be unique lol
  20. Where do you go for uni? The courier will depend on where it gets dropped off, it needs to get to the far northern suburbs to me...there is a few courier bases in between, but Id say a few days and Ill have them. The walk starts at 9, if we get there and do the shirts at 7.30 thats plenty of time for them to dry
