I was exactly the same, a lot of crosses looked like they had a stafford face, but the bodies didn't match lol I think I got the malamute and husky right, the first dog looked bigger so I put malamute for that

If you do get a furminator... Check eBay ;) -
$1 cheaper....wow The one I contacted through this forum quoted $90 for the food because it would be freighted to me. handy if you live close by.... *shrugs* most people would spend that on fuel just getting there Julana seems to do a Northside delivery every month or so... Saves the courier anyway

I've just ordered my first real bag of BH, I'm finally starting to run out of RC...and so starts the changeover
-
Perhaps email Sherel about the problem...they might be able to help you out a bit if they know about it (she doesn't seem to come on here much is all I'm saying)

http://www.dogsontrack.com.au/ Jane comes highly recommended by a lot of DOLers, I've been to her myself for a minor issue and she was amazing

Best Brush For A Short Smooth Coat?

I have both the above brushes for my JRT, they both work well, I find the zoom groom to be more comfortable for her, but it's messier -
My mum is a great example of 'Joe Public' when it comes to this. She is a dog lover much like me, but when it comes to certain breeds, namely any bull breed and ACD's she says they all have a mean streak and can turn on you...until I joined DOL I had similar views on bull breeds. I've certainly changed my mind...especially after having met one of the dogs in that video (and she is GORGEOUS!) but I don't see myself ever being able to convince my mum any different...apparently that 'mean streak' is in all of them, almost like a ticking time bomb Showing pictures of them fighting and looking 'butch' doesn't help, I'm not saying they need to get dressed up in frilly pink stuff, but there is nothing wrong with a plain leather collar, a bright nylon one. There was a picture of a dog that had a 'tough' collar, but it was being led by a halti...to the uneducated public that means the dog is uncontrollable

What do you mean by central NSW...if you contact us, I could get in touch with my lovely son-in-law... you can PM me or just email on [email protected] I mean smack bang in the middle lol (600kms west of Sydney) post code 2680 If I can convince her to go with a SP kibble, this is the way, being so isolated there is no chance of her ordering any other food, so at least this way its all done through people, and its couriered straight to the door

Are Frozen Chicken Necks Ok?
GoldenGirl85 replied to Aztec Gold's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Why don't you give him half a chicken frame instead? they will last longer than a chicken neck...I gave Lexi a neck once...and after it went down whole I said "no more!" -
$1 cheaper....wow

Does Anyone Know If The Mini Fox Terrier Club Is Still Going
GoldenGirl85 replied to Rozzie's topic in General Dog Discussion
They have their own registry, they just aren't ANKC recognised Same with Coolies and some other breeds ....and god forbid the Ooooodles -
Because the dog might look at them? or better yet, I'm not kidding about this, someone rang into the radio one day when poor Jackie O was kicked out of a cafe because she had her dog there "the dog might sniff a chair or the table, and because all dogs lick their noses, they all have saliva on their noses and I'm allergic to dog saliva, I could go into anaphylaxis if I sit on the part the dog sniffed!" *like insert blonde bimbo attitude here* Bahaha maybe if they sat there with a bare butt in which case there are some real hygiene issues there! Lol, and I was nearly going to ring in and say just that

The people that work in the Melton store where extreamly friendly & helpful....I don't know if this is because the store is still fairly new & there trying to keep new customers, or if the staff in Melton are just genuinely nice. The one near me is only fairly new, but it was called Pet Hypermarket, so they could just have kept the same staff on from when the first store closed, and Best Friends opened
-
I have one, and will never set foot in store again, mostly because of the extremely poor service and lack of customer service skills from the staff, the one near me doesn't sell pets
-
She lives in Griffith, post code 2680 I just had another look and saw you have a distributor in Canberra, they could be the closest, but its hard to tell because two of the NSW people don't have locations on the BH website
-
Sherel do you have a distributor for central NSW? I'm trying to convince my mum to put her dogs on a superpremium kibble instead of tinned PAL
-
As I understand it you can have two non pedigree dogs registered on the associate register, but I think they need to be desexed, and I don't see why they could show... But they can compete in dog sports If your friend Jo wants to show a dog, buy from a registered breeder

Contacting julana is the way to go, she is great
