Does sound steep 8 months not weeks?? Chocolate isn't 'rare' persae, is it? Age shouldn't matter, $3500 for a Lab is ridiculous! $1000-$1200 I would think Chocolate is about as rare as blue staffords, they're not popular in the show ring, so they don't tend to get bred for that reason, but then they became the craze

No, you need to have dogs on the main register first, responsible breeders don't put their whole litter on the mains, only dogs that are suited to show, and that will be going to a show home, any dogs going to a pet home should be sold on the limit register, which means even if you join ANKC etc, that dog still can't be bred, or if you do, the pups can't be registered

I have one of those, it had very little effect on the water that gets dribbled after Lexi has a drink

Yep, welcome to the world of Goldens :)

Only NSW does that...which is why I never had personalised plates in NSW :) Its so silly that the different states have different rules like that. All my older cousins have personalised plates, bought by my grandparents for them for their 21st however by my 21st it was a yearly fee and I decided there was no point them getting them for me I ended up with my grandfathers plates when he stopped driving. FJ 010- I have no idea what they mean but have got some comments from car nuts about them lol Yeah, my older siblings got them, but when my time came there was a yearly fee...I was pissed because my older brother found out they were putting the fee on, so got some for his motorbike, but didn't tell me FJ could be referring to an old FJ holden?

Ok, so I'm treating a 26.5kg, a 14kg, and a 5kg dog, could I stretch a large dog chew over the 3 do you think? I already do them every 6 weeks to save a bit lol
-
I'm treating 3 dogs in 3 different weight ranges, all of whom are only just in their weight range which just seems like a waste, its becoming too tempting to cut the chews in half, which is why I'm looking at something that comes in a tablet form, that way I can chop them as I need to
-
comes in 25kg size tablets as well. Thanks for the link! I've been looking for something cheaper than Interceptor...but everything is a 10kg tablet, which seems no cheaper than buying Interceptor when you're looking at treating a 27kg dog Any tip for cheap heartworm treatment? preferably monthly?

Often yes lol, an older JRT will be a lot more settled What about a spaniel of some sort?

Agreed, perhaps you could try fostering a dog and see how your children will cope with having one around...

Do a quick search on DOL...pick say, the all too common "what is the best food for my dog" the response is generally "the best food for your dog is the food your dog does best on" people will tell their stories of this food and that, some have found a supermarket brand was so much better for their dogs than the super premium foods, some can only use one brand or their dog will react...unfortunately its all about trial and error You say you've done research, but I found your OP to be very limited in what you've tried, have you tried putting her crate in a quiet area rather than a 'high traffic area'? I know how stressful it is to have a new pup, but I think you need to take some time out, calm down, and do a bit of searching on DOL for the concerns you have, there is a lot of information and opinions on here, all you need to do is ask

Not that we have been advised of, nor the APVMA advised of We withdrew Advantix from sale of the 21st of December and have been in contact with both our supplier (who is has other customers with the same issues) and Bayer, heck, we have sold large quantities of there product and they didnt want to hear anything about it. Simply saying it is a matter between them and the user… ummm, hello, who has to give these people there money back. Easiest way for us to show our displeasure of this whole situation is to stop selling the product. Whilst every medication has risks, in 16 months we have had 3 issues with reactions from customers, 2 with Frontline (1 Cats, 1 Dogs) and one from Comfortis… then to have 7 issues in 3 weeks from 1 product…. strange This is what made me think that maybe there has been a change to the formula, it does seem the reactions have been to more recent batches than what was available previously...although I would have thought that Bayer would have informed people of a change As I said there were reports of this over 12 months ago in the US - will see if I can find the article. Is the product available here manufactured in the US? if not then I'd almost be saying its unrelated, if yes...then how do we know they weren't manufactured at the same time? I just had a look at a box I have here, there is an expiry date, but no manufacture date...it could just be that this 'batch' which was available in the US 12 months ago, has just recently come into circulation here in Australia

Not wanting to sound rude, but that statement is uncalled for… For the record, and for those nay-sayers that are carrying on like there is not a problem, there IS a problem We, along with 2 other retailers I know of have withdrawn Advantix for sale, and WILL NOT re-stock it, period Having to refund 7 customers in less than 3 weeks due to adverse reactions, outside of what is normally expected says to me something is not right And to get the run around from Bayer, well easy fixed… We will not sell this product, and eventually remove all Bayer product from sale, and as per above. We are not the only ones doing this To have a manufacturer basically say, these things happen when customers are banging there heads on the wall getting the same response is not acceptable Has there been a change to the formula for Bayer products?

I don't see the point in this...if you don't like what the 'experts' say...then don't do it

Puppy Farmers Advertising As "registered Breeders"

A lot of bybers seem to think their council registration counts -
Most of the recommended chiros tend to be vets... Maybe that's the difference As a human Chiro and dog owner, I say there is a big difference!!! The training is a Masters of Veterinary Chiropractic and can be done by human Chiros and Vets. My rottie has hip dysplasia and I took her to Vet Chiro and a Vet Physio. IT should go without saying that human and canine biomechanics differ greatly! Anything I may have even thought to do in order to treat my rottie myself turned out to be incorrect quite simply because humans are different to dogs! dah. Having witnessed how my Vet Chiro adjusts my rottie, even though I have been adjusting humans for 14 years, I simply wouldn't attempt what he did to her, without the training, just like I wouldn't expect a Vet Chiro to think they can adjust a human without human training. So how did my rottie respond to Chiro with her hip dysplasia? extremely well, she would prance around like a princess after treatment! Does she get regular treatment? Not at this time, I only take her on an as need basis. Sorry lol, I think you misunderstood what I said, I wasn't referring to vet chiro Vs human chiro, but more vet chiro Vs 'bloke who did a distance course and has no real training**'...bit like the registered breeder Vs BYB argument...they're doing the same thing, but one has ethics, and the other is just out there to make some cash on the side **I do know of such a chiro, to be completely honest I don't know where he got his training, but he is NOT a vet, and considering that he didn't pick up a dogs severe HD or that there was even something wrong with her structure, I seriously doubt that he has any ability other than to count cash

Fingers crossed for you and Alvin Clyde, I know exactly what you're going through, it's a horrible feeling

FHRP...unfortunately word of mouth isn't always reliable either I have PMed Nadsi my negative experience with a very popular 'chiro' in Brisbane, although I am considering taking my tribe down to Animal Options for a visit...just gotta find the time lol

This I don't use my prong in an environment that might open up the argument, because most of the population believe the other side of the argument Even recently my mum was visiting me and saw the collar I use for Lexi, and she said "is that one of those prong collars? Ive been reading up on those" my reply? very hesitantly "ummmmm yes....which side of the argument have you been reading?" Thankfully she has been reading up on K9 Pro, and after seeing me use it on my very gentle, non reactive GR, she is pro prong collars!!!

see the patches have free shipping to They don't have the ones I want, K9 Pro have "In training" and "Give me space, don't pet me"
