Does anyone know where I can find out about agility etc in Bunbury WA for my Cav?
-
I thought I might get more traffic in this area. Our litter is due next week and I'm hoping to link the pups names to the parents. Bitch: Designed for Diamonds Sire: Royal Desire 4-5 pups were seen on ultrasound. Any ideas for a theme or actual names would be great! I'm not very creative. Our prefix is R*******. Thanks!

Sorry this will be quick ladies, family visiting, busy with Lola and Im about to leave to be baptised at the Easter vigil. Lola has settled in well, she sleeps all night til about 5.30am. Shes just gorgeous! Be back in the next few days!

Ok my sister and mum finally have Lola with them and are on the way home in the car to my mums place. They will feed her and let her have a good run around, followed by some more cuddles after such a long day for her. Poor girl. They said she is just so beautiful and perfect and tiny!!! Name was on the crate so that wasnt the problem, very bad communication from Sydneys Dogtainers, they stuffed up but also a big stuff up not contacting Perth Dogtainers so they could let me know about missed connection. I will be doing a complaint in the next few days once Lola has settled in. Thank goodness shes ok. 1 more sleep and Ill be able to give her cuddles. She will be here about 8am in the morning WA time. Ill update as soon as I can. Marnsx

I am absolutely livid. Here is my nightmare so far. Get a call from my sister who was at Australian Air Epress to pick up Lola. They had no record of her. My sister checked the dogs there none was a ruby cav. They had no record of her on the next flight either. I call Dogtainers once my sister informs me of this to be told we dont know where she is. They said please check the breeder has put her on at Tamworth, I replied I know she has I got an email. It took over an hour to hear that she was ok, I have been so upset. She is only 8 weeks and hasnt eaten anything since last night and only had something to drink at 7am Eastern standards time this morning. She actually is on the next flight but is noted as a less than 5kg weight or something not even by name. So now my sister isnt coming down, she will pick her up at 6.45pm WA time (so 9.45 eastern time) then take her back to my parents tonight and head down tomorrow morning. My eldest child who knows Lola is coming came out of school so excited and I had to tell him she wasnt coming, he is beside himself. He has managed to read a 96 page book on Cavaliers in the last few weeks so he would know more about the breed and how to take care of her. Sorry Im starting to cry again thinking how hungry and scared Lola is right now. Ill be back later when I have calmed down. Marns x

Just an update....Lola made it from Tamworth to Sydney okay, plane was only a few minutes late thank goodness as if it was too late she would miss connecting lfight! So she is now in the air again after departing Sydney on her way to Perth. She should land around 1.55pm Perth time, my sister is going to be there to get her at 2.15pm then drive down to Bunbury, will take about 2 hours. Got so much to do housework wise so Ill toddle off and get it done. Hi to everyone and I promise some personals later and hopefully some more photos!!! Marns

Ill try to do some personals tomorrow or the next day, best be moving and getting stuff done. Marns

1 sleep to go, it seems sort of surreal!!!! How is everyone else doing? Belgian blue- how did you go wtih Perth Dogtainers?
-
Bluefairy- OMG Zoe is beautiful....what is the pink thing she is wearing, it is gorgeous, is it a harness of some type and where do I get one from? Sounds like she is well toilet trained already, fingers crossed Lola is the same! Pls keep sharing photos! Belgian Blue- that seems expensive, Lola is getting flown from Tamworth to Perth via Sydney and it was 250 with crate hire or 265 and the crate is mine to keep. Can you get quotes from other places? Mine is through Dogtainers also. Lauren Golden- wow not long now, how exciting!! Any photos to share this week? Lily123- congrats, trust me the 8 weeks will fly by, we have been waiting since Lola was 2 weeks old, so almost 6 weeks and I cant believe how quickly it has gone. Me- 2 sleeps to go....woohoo. So busy at the moment though its crazy, got heaps to do tomorrow while Im kid free. Better go get the monkeys into bed so I can finish eating my dinner!! Marns x

The pink thing is from Kmart, comes in a smaller size too. It can be used for food or water, the plastic container turns around depending what you want to use. Will let you know how it goes! Cant believe Ill see Lola in 3 more sleeps! Hubby doesnt get back from overseas until Easter Tuesday so he is last to meet her. Even my parents and sister will meet Lola first!! How is everyone else going? Wasnt someone picking up their pug Zoe today or yesterday?

Nic- yeah we bought two of them for laying on in diff rooms. Still trying to figure out if we are crate training or not, I have to make a decision before Wednesday! Sounds like you yourself are all ready to go, what day do you pick your pup up? Marns x

Another lot of stuff!

Some of the things we have for her its the smallest I could make the photo and it will only let me put one per post this time! The kids will be excited as they have never had a dog that wanted to play with them. Our old boy, a blue heeler cross died in January aged nearly 15 yrs. So he was always past the playing stage and would hide form them instead! So Im really looking forward to teaching them how to look after Lola, theres plenty of love to go around in this house! Here are some photos of some of the things we have for her so far. I also have the dry biscuits she needs but didnt put them in the photo.

Thanks ladies! We love her so much already just from the photos. She gets picked up from Perth airport by my sister on Wednesday arvo, then my sister drives straight down here. So late arvo we will be giving her lots of cuddles. So excited, only our eldest knows we are getting her, the other three have no idea. We have a plastic playpen we use fpor the kids, only has small holes, a paw wouldnt fit into, very sturdy and thick plastic. So we hope that will last awhile. I have to submit my assignment and it needs some tweaking, but once its done I might take some photos of all the things we have bought for Lola to show everyone!! 5 sleeps to go!!! Mich and Jake- our youngest child and only daughter is called Georgia- Gigi for short. Maybe you could call her Gigi (even the kids and carers at daycare call her this), its such a cute name. Marnsx
