I think it's nice that your puppy owner decided to share it with you I took Brennan back to the breeders on her first birthday back in April ( as part of my contract I signed) and gave Gennie ( breeder) a copy of some photo's of her-- she really appreciated it

I agree, sounds like the fine print on pet's in the apartment complex needed to be read prior to purchase.

I get beef bones as well as kangaroo bones from Pet Zest in Elizabeth City Centre for a good price. I think its $3 for Kangaroo bones and $2.50 for a pack of beef bones. I buy 4 packs of beef bones and they last me the fortnight for my girl Also Green Valley Grocer's opposite Coles in Elizabeth City Centre sell pet mince for 99cents per kilo.

I think it would be great to have here

I didn't see it, but I agree if I rung about a dog and was told to meet the 'breeder' in a car park that would be a pretty major sign that all is not right. It sounded like a lose lose situation

I don't know how I managed to sit through it...but I did. Then I took my dog outside and kicked the ball around with her watching her happy face as she played.

That is just the cutest I have just finished posting in the thread about Dr. Phil's Animal Abuse Show which was on today--pretty harrowing topic. This topic was the first one I looked at after posting and it made me laugh and smile :D

I caught it from the start, my first instinct was like other's to turn it off and save my tears and anger but I watched it. I really could not believe the first guy, he disgusted me, the way he tried to justify his actions as if that made them okay. The guy in the elevator had me in tears . The way he kept getting the dog up only to kick it down again :D. Then with the phone call from some one trying to 'justify his behaviour saying he regretted it and he had been in a bad mood etc. I don't care..you know..how many of us can say we have bad moods and manage to not harm an animal?..There is no excuse for what he did-NONE I loved when Rescue Ink came out--those guys are awesome for what they do, and I love seeing them use their appearance to intimidate an animal abuser. Just goes to show the old ''Don't judge people by how they look'' saying. The animal hording one was hard to watch too...knowing the conditions those poor animals were living in. I really do not like Paris Hilton--but I did agree with her when she said about punching that guy. I also liked how Dr Phil mentioned his dog being a rescue dog and how they showed a few rescue dogs available.

Nothing surprises me now Your washing line and yard looks perfectly normal to me

Brennan kills squeaky toys pretty easily. Her puppy Wubba lasted a week and a half, her regular Wubba lasted 2 days until it was de-squeaked. She has the black Kong which so far she has not been able to destroy, and the Kong frisbee which has also proven to hold up to her teeth

I put them in the zip lock bags, then in 2 of the Coles brand freezer bags.

Ouch...not good. Admittedly I am happy that the dog at least will not be PTS over the attack. -
They are gorgeous

Let us know how you go, it's a good thing you are on good terms with the woman. Maybe discussing some training options with her, support her in finding a trainer/behaviourist, if she has internet access then maybe share some good websites with her which could help by giving her reading material, also a way to research trainer's/ behaviourists available.

Dang!..it's not on here in SA ( a fishing program). I may look online to see if can see it...

Is there the option of either writing a letter, or speaking to your neighbours? You said they do love their dog and provide it with walks etc, maybe they are just frustrated and have ''given up'' or are not aware of their options in regards to help with training/ behaviour. Maybe you could just kindly speak to them, point out that you know they love their dog and you are ''concerned, and don't want to see them lose their dog because the dog has bitten some one''. I would probably want to speak to or contact the owners with my concerns before doing something drastic. Although I agree that the concern is definitely if it injures some one. Good Luck

They look great, I am sure that your dogs will soon learn how to use the steps confidently
