  1. Awesome . One less expense for you for a while at least~ you can use the money you save to treat yourself to something nice ;)
  2. I love Cuz'z, Orbee balls, Nina Ottosson products. Kong frisbee's are also pretty cool for basic throwing and fetch.
  3. I had to do a search on Yahoo to find out. I have never heard of 'Red Dog' or the book before. Sadly I doubt I will watch it. Just reading the wikipedia entry was enough for me to know that I would turn into a blubbering mess in the cinema . I can't watch 'Hachi' for the same reason...
  4. I'm with Pet Plan. Haven't had to use them yet, but a friend who has had several trips to the vet with her Bull Terrier has and she raves about them.
  5. Sorry Anja, trying to not laugh..but it's so cute
  6. I love the GSD on the right..the eyes are wonderful
  7. Sounds lovely . My next tattoo will be a head shot of Brennan with GSD up the top, and her name and date of birth underneath. It's just saving for the money and finding a nice photo and of course a good portrait tattooist. I think there are a few people who have Tattoo tributes to their dogs on here. I know in Off Topic there is a Tattoo thread which is an interesting read if you have time :D
  8. A friend in the USA travelled 14 one way by car from Kansas City, Kansas to Detroit, Michigan for her pup. Then she drove home so a 28 hour drive there and back. Two years later she did the same trip to get another pup
  9. I think most breeds have stereotypes. You just have to ignore them or think up a really good witty comeback .
  10. Hi guys, This is a video my friend Lizzy made of her 9 year old Cavalier x Poodle x Cocker Spaniel. The video has sort of gone viral and I could not be happier for her..she is very talented young photographer, and as a trainer ( and she is just so darn lovely too). I really love this video..I hope you all enjoy it too
  11. I always buy my flea products from Ebay. To be honest, I find them much cheaper then other websites. For instance I am about to buy Comfortis for my German Shepherd which will cost me between $53-$60 ( free postage). Heartgard is $38 with free postage. Ebay is also really good for toys, books, breed memorabilia. Ebay Australia The Book Depository UK is another one that is awesome for free postage. There are a whole lot of books available. In fact most of my training books now come from Book Depository UK. They have a wide range of titles and authors. Book Depository UK
  12. I bought mine on Ebay, although may be worth checking with some of the larger pet stores ie Pet Stock
  13. Well it doesn't look like mine..to me it actually looks a bit like a black cross breed dog. Still it's an awesome drawing, definitely better than anything I could do. I say keep drawing. I will give you some more :p ;) for encouragement
  14. I use a few of those plastic draw things for leads, collars, flea treatment, medical stuff, spare clickers etc. Then there is a toy box for toys, and her treat pouch goes by my bed so it's easily accessible to reward good behaviours
  15. I have gotten some great toys for bargain prices off of ebay, and I get my flea treatments there too. Dog books~ I always check out Book Depository UK for great prices and free shipping.
  16. RIP To the lady truly a horrible way to go, and to the witness who saw the attack .
  17. Brennan loves Kangaroo mince, and Roo tails..absolutely loves them
  18. Wow... So they have had these 2 dogs for 2 months and in those 8-9 weeks they have discovered they do not have the time for the dogs and that they would rather have 'their backyard back' I hope these dogs find a suitable place to live...poor dogs :D
  19. Brennan is getting some stuffed toys from the Op Shop, she is also getting a Rawhide candy cane, squeaky Santa ball, puppy tug/ comfort toy, squeaky fetch ball, and a new collar ( as soon as I can find one in a colour I like) They are already wrapped waiting for Christmas Day :D
  20. "Hugh Who?" (BM : Not having a sling at you .... more at the person himself.) He's the President of the RSPCA. Or was. Now I'm not sure what or where he is in the RSPCA. He speaks a lot. And with the "RSPCA tag" that goes with him, he has a large and adoring following in the unsuspecting/unknowing public. Which is the REALLY scarey bit . I just did a Facebook search ( good ol' Facebook) seems he is not popular at all for his idea's on Pit Bulls and other 'Bully' breeds. Of course will have to do a legitimate search just to have a better idea...but so far it's not looking good for him
