Thanks Cosmolo, but I'm not in that area any more. I knew they used to have other locations which was why I was trying to remember who it was. -

that was it, thanks! -
Your dogs are gorgeous I'm addicted too - watch out cos I just adopted a DOL doggie that needed a new home! And she is fantastic, putting a big smile on our faces after a difficult few months.

Hi Paulp, I would like to join up this Saturday, but cannot get there until 1.30pm (I work till 1pm). Is this too late for sign up? I'd like to join up for beginners obedience. -
Hi, I'm a bit paranoid about lumps at the moment, as the lump that appeared about 6 months ago on my Z turned out to be a Mast Cell Tumour, Grade II. It first appeared similar to an "insect bite" and the vet initially said (when at visit for different reason) , just keep an eye on it. It kept changing, dissapearing and reappearing, and then reached a point where we knew it needed investigating, and now it has been removed (but unfortunately not with a good deep margin). I'm not trying to make you paranoid, but with the benefit of hindsight I wish I had kept a note of when it appeared, dates, how it looked etc. At least with photos you have a good record for observing changes. Not that it would have changed our outcome or timing of treatment, but it would have been easier to give the vets a definitive story rather than "well roughly, and I guess......" Good luck.

Hi, just wanted to come in on this topic as Z has been diagnosed with a MCT, Grade 2, surgically removed but incomplete deep margin. Low mitotic index however, so hoping it may not be too aggressive?? Just got the result of the biopsy today, so just trying to take this all in and do some reading up. I do work for the vet who operated, so can get good information on options going forward, but would be interested to know if any of you have had experience with low or high mitotic indexes. I have started her on a lowcarb diet. The tumour was removed from her thigh, wound being 13 cm long, a big chunk of leg for a greyhound ETA Sending you best wishes feistylady....
