I would be interested to know the answers to your questions Tootsie roll. I noticed on Facebook today that this so called rescue group has had a 9 year old Neo Mastiff imprisoned (kennelled) for 8 years. Absolutely heartbreaking.

This so called rescue group needs to stop putting their name on dogs ASAP, so that other reputable rescue groups may save these dogs from a life of being kennelled for many years. This practice is unacceptable and verging on cruelty. Sending out a SOS to these unfortunate "rescue" dogs who languish in kennels for many years.

I noticed on Facebook, from a volunteer the sad plight about five rescue dogs being kennelled for years. I assume it is these dogs you are talking about. It is no life for a dog. It just breaks my heart and i am sure it breaks the dog spirit. I believe the rescue group should advocate for these poor dogs and swallow their pride and ask for assistance from a reputable rescue group for help in rehoming these poor, sad and lonely dogs. Very sad indeed.

I have recently moved and i am now looking for a new vet in the Sutherland or Menai area of Sydney. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Suddenly my little terrier x become weak in the hind legs and as she had a history of arthritis and hip spurs she was put on Metacam and cartrophen injections but sadly it was a massive liver tumour that had caused the hind leg weakness and there was nothing i could do for my little girl but to set her free to rainbow bridge. Good luck in finding a diagnosis and then a treatment for your westie.

Dr G. S sure looked chuffed when he was showing channel Ten news the plans for the new vet clinic, compliments of the late Mr Samways. Why did he not give a guided tour of the so called shelter to channel ten viewers.

RIP Mr Samway. I'm not surprised that he never set foot in the shelter as he truly would have be upset with what he saw in the shelter. Sadly if he had of seen with his own eyes what went on behind closed doors the money may have gone to a better deserving charity and not this so called one.

Please take Loki to the vet and insist on a full blood screen. Dogs are very stoic creatures and sadly put up with a fair amount of pain before they start showing any signs or symptoms, either physical or behavioural. I truly believe that a sudden change in Loki's behaviour should be throughly investigated and not just put down to anxiety. Dogs in pain can appear to be anxious and i don't believe anxiety medication is the answer until bloods are taken and further investigations are carried out. I know it is a very trying time for you, especially when you are sleep deprived but please understand that Loki is communicating his problems with you the only way he knows how. My thoughts are with you at this confusing time.
