My first thought was to send an angry email, but that isn't going to help. I sent her an email explaining how serious it is to remove a puppy from its Mother at such a young age. I also mentioned puppy farms and how advertising her puppy as a breeders dream isn't responsible. I also touched briefly on the issues with cross breeding. I'm fairly certain she won't listen to me, but I couldn't do nothing, and like everyone else there is no way I'd encourage it by giving her money.

Only if I could guarantee they'd be as awesome as Lincoln I do love my labs, but gosh Cara is being naughty, especially when she couldn't be walked due to the weather. Paige just took her out now tho and she's all tired out I think
-
He's just such a delight. He sat on my foot the other day and looked up at me for treats. If I paint Cara brown, and swapped, you wouldn't notice would you?
-
I don't think I've ever met a puppy who is cuter than Lincoln. I'm a big fan
-
I wish I could take him too Just so you guys can see how young he actually is, here are the pictures of him.
-
I think it's only the one, but maybe she's keeping the others for a bit and trying to sell this one now.
-
I want to take Cara too, but I think it'll be next year after some obedience.
-
Sadly the puppy is three weeks old, and she says it can go next week. I responded to her with some information but I doubt she'll listen :\

Fair call. Removed any reference to the site and link.

I have emailed her to ask her the age of the puppy, if it is 3 weeks old I'll see what can be done about it.

I'm randomly checking a certain website, as I do, to ensure that the person who mistreated Henry isn't causing any other dogs harm, and I came over this ad. I'm desperately hoping it's a misprint, altho with the nonsense she's talking, it might not be. 3 weeks, must go asap? Sadly, the puppy does look young. Title - Breeders Dream Offered By Owner i hav one 3 week old bichon cross multiese-shitsue both parents are pure breds he is a beautiful lap dog that just loves everyone and wants nothing more than to spend time with you. good guard dog, and low maintenance dog. this is a rather rare breed usualy going for about 800-850 but because i need to sell quick im am putting down the price to 500 must go asap! please call me on -insert idiots phone number here- Edited to remove phone number and any reference to the site this was found on.

I'd contact the council. As far as I'm aware, fleas are a health concern and the council will pounce on that in a heartbeat. I'm sorry that you have to live next door to someone so irresponsible. Imagine the life those poor animals lead. It's so sad

What a great post :D I've recently fallen madly in love with my new dog. He's old, he's a fatty boomba, and everytime I look at him I feel so much love in my heart Like you, when that alarm goes off at 6am, I'm tired but happy to spend an hour walking with my boy

Funnily enough, all of them have partial stuffing removed, but are holding up really well. Henry seems to just walk around with one in his mouth most of the time. Cara only wants the one Henry is playing with, altho today we were throwing the rabbit into her pool and she thought that was great fun.

A big thank you to Caroline from Henry, Cara and the humans. <3

Dol Fundraising Cookbook

I've got some people recipes and some dog recipes So first up, people. Melting Moment Biscuits Ingedients 250g butter 1/3 cup icing sugar 1½ cups plain flour ½ cup corn flour Lemon Cream Icing 60g butter ½ cup icing sugar 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon rind 3 teaspoons lemon juice ½ teaspoon of vanilla bean extract Biscuit Method Start by whipping softened butter with electric beaters. The butter must be soft, but definitely not liquid. Add the icing sugar in parts and whip until combined and the mix is light and fluffy. Add the corn flour in parts and mix well, until it is all combined. The texture should be smooth and light like in the picture to the left. Add plain flour in half cup amounts and mix well after each addition. The aim is to keep a light, soft, smooth mixture that will be able to be forced through a piping bag or biscuit press. Spoon into a biscuit press and press the biscuits onto a lightly greased tray. Or you can use a very strong piping bag to pipe rosettes on to a lightly greased oven tray. Bake in moderate oven 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Lemon Cream Icing Method Whip butter and lemon zest with electric beaters. Gradually add sifted icing sugar and continue beating until mixture is light and creamy. Gradually add lemon juice and vanilla. Add extra icing sugar as needed to ensure a stiff icing mixture. Use a butter knife to spread the icing onto the back of a biscuit, press down the other half and then load into your jar or barrel. Makes about 40 complete biscuits using a press. These will keep for about a week and a half in an airtight container and are usually even better on the second day. Cookies and Cream Cheesecakes Recipe Makes 30 Ingredients: 42 cream-filled sandwich cookies, such as Oreos, 30 left whole, and 12 coarsely chopped 2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature 1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten 1 cup sour cream Pinch of salt 1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Place 1 whole cookie in the bottom of each lined cup. 2. With an electric mixer on medium high speed, beat cream cheese until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Gradually add sugar, and beat until combined. Beat in vanilla. 3. Drizzle in eggs, a bit at a time, beating to combine and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Beat in sour cream and salt. Stir in chopped cookies by hand. 4. Divide batter evenly among cookie-lined cups, filling each almost to the top. Bake, rotating pan halfway through, until filling is set, about 22 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (or up to overnight). Remove from tins just before serving. Dogs Canine Carrot Cookies 2 cups carrots, boiled and pureed 2 eggs 2 cups unbleached flour 1 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup wheat germ Combine carrots and eggs. Mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients. Roll out on heavily floured surface and cut into bars or desired shapes. Bake at 150 degrees for 45 minutes or to desired crunchiness. The centers will continue to harden as they cool. Brush with egg white before baking for a glossy finish. Bulldog Banana Bites Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup powdered milk -- nonfat 1 egg 1/3 cup banana -- ripe, mashed 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 beef bouillon cube 1/2 cup water -- hot 1 tablespoon brown sugar Instructions: Mix all ingredients until will blended. Knead for 2 minutes on a floured surface. Roll to 1/4 " thickness. Use a 2 1/2" bone shaped cookie cutter (or any one you prefer). Bake for 30 minutes in a 3150 degrees oven on ungreased cookie pan Fido's Favorite Treats Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats 1/3 cup margarine or butter 1 cup boiling water 3/4 cup cornmeal 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons chicken or beef instant bullion 1/2 cup milk 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 egg, beaten 2 cups white or wheat flour Preheat oven to 165 degrees.Grease cookie sheets. In large bowl combone rolled oats, margarine and water; let stand for 10 minutes. Sitr in cornmeal, sugar, boullion, milk, cheese and egg. Mix well. Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition to form stiff dough. On floured surface, knead in remaining flour until dough is smooth and no longer sticky, 3 to 4 minutes. Roll or pat out dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Store loosely covered. Makes 3 1/2 dozen large biscuits. -
I have 2 Labs and 2 Ragdolls and I don't know what I did before the Furminator. Also got mine of Ebay, it's awesome.

I'm no expert, but I'd say them being entire has something to do with it. Also, how much do you exercise them? Boredom can easily lead to unwanted behaviour. Are you planning on breeding or showing them? If not, I'd be making a trip to the vets (for the staffy).

Sorry to hear about your horse Lab_Rat :D Sounds like she had a long and beautiful life with you. I got quite upset the other day as I realised every horse I'd owned from a child thru to my early 20's would now be gone. If only they could live forever

Okay, This Probably Shouldn't Be In General

Heya http://www.petspantry.com.au/ looks to sell Nutrience and should deliver to SA. -
Several years ago we did this with our cat. We buried her in a huge pot and planted a cherry blossom tree and several bulb plants in it, so they'd keep flowering. We hung her tags on a silver chain from the tree. It didn't smell, not once, we put it out in the garden so any water from the pot went into the ground, and when we needed to, we refilled the pot with dirt to top it up. Honestly, this is a better option than using taxidermy. The things you love about your dog will be gone. You're better to have those memories inside you, than a reminder of something that looks like your dog, but isn't any of the things that made you love him. We got the biggest pot we could, it was absolutely huge, and we placed it half full of dirt, then put Lily in the middle. We never had to worry about it, and our dog never paid any attention to it, so it shows that she didn't smell. Best of luck, terrible situation to be in

It's Not My Business I Know....

Eh? If I spend 5 minutes googling I can track Elvis and his positions over the last 30 years, doesn't mean it is true. The mere fact that animals are euthanised because they can't be rehomed in shelters shows that we do indeed have an issue. Never mind the fact that so many of the dogs needing rescuing are staffy x breeds. I say tell the breeder, maybe she can talk some sense into her. -
I Thought I Should Share This Email ...
