quote name='Ravyk' date='13th Oct 2009 - 05:07 PM' post='4044398'] WESTERN AUSTRALIA Cape Howe Cottages - Denmark WA www.capehowe.com.au Wonderful place, fenced 1/2 acre yard- fenced off verandah, lots of room for two willy whippets to run, play, sleep and investigate. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the whippets slept inside, (NOT ON FURNITURE) and were as happy as well whippets. Highly recommend it, we will be back. There are dog friendly beaches and lots of walks what more could we ask for .....

Ditto - wonderful pics, love them, shame we cant do it in WA - I am also concerned with injury, mine can hurt themselves lunging aroung the back yard Whippets are just too darn speedy -
How awful, both my whippets have collars with council and name tags on allthe time, they have to in our shire, they have microchips but the ranger here doesnt,,,,makes me feel sick to think they could be injured or killed by something that is meant to save them....Another dilema!

Well Galas ears look like a bat and when she walking they move in different directions she can hold them like a proper whippet just not often, she is more also a chatterer, so what can i say...vava la difference

Wish I lived in Victoria, what a great day out for whippets and their owners

What time is the Dog West shop open on the weekends? I'm after all fabric, no chain. Hi, dont know of any shops that sell them, but if you try looking a Black Dog online they have martingdale type fabric collars in sizes to suit toys (iggis to Greyhounds, so they would fit most breeds, I have one and it has adjusted from tiny pup to full grown whippet - not that expensive either, or try whippet assn or greyhound assn on line, they both have them the whippet ones are really glam, they might make to measure, again not that expensive....
