Im going through the same thing here. Diva hasn't given me any forwarning this time around until this morning until I noticed shaking. She ate last night and was chasing the mowing around the back yard as well. I have also had a girl give absolutely no indication until she started contracting. Running around with the others in the am. Gave her a bath then 1 hour later she was pushing. Sounds weird I know but she kept it well hidden right up until the point of pushing for some reason. That one was 6 days early as well but whelped a litter of 5 healthy pups with no issues.

Are they the ones based in QLD??? If so I bought from them 2 years ago and will never buy from them again. Same situation as you & promised frieght within 2 working days - 4 weeks later I finally get them to answer a phone (no response to numerous emails) to find out because 1 item was on back order they held the entire order. I complained about the lack of communication etc. Finally got most of my order a week later then the rest of it about 6 weeks after that. I wouldn't go there again.

Flea Alergies On A Bitch With Litter
Tentapride replied to kirst_goldens's topic in Breeders Community
Use Bepathan - works a treat, redness and itching should settle asap and won't harm the pups. Just to be safe though I wouldn't use it on her belly. I don't travel without it and I always have it available at home. Works far better than any prescription ointment anyway. Also it would hurt to give her a bath even if its just water you use as it will aid in removing the flea saliva from the dogs skin. If you give her a bath make sure its been at least 2 days post 'advantage' though. -
Training In Newcastle/lower Hunter Area
Tentapride replied to Tentapride's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Thanks for that. Would you have any idea when they train and when they accept new members? I know its the wrong time of year for a new membersip but if I know when they start back up next year I can pop along and check it out. Although Im not too sure Im keen on the no food idea. I like to train with food rewards and the girl I want to train is not really toy motivated. Leanne -
Hi all Im getting ready to start back at obedience with one of my tenties and I am looking for a club/group in the newcastle/lower hunter area. I have been a member of NABDTC for many years previously but am not interested in returning there as all they care about is collecting the $3 - mass classes and do nothing to support or encourage people who want to work up to trialling - and their methods aren't crash hot either. What I am looking for is a club/group that uses positive reinforcement, possibly clicker training, and support people who wish to train at above the pet level. I've trained and trialled before. My trialling was to open level and I was training UD exercises but that was at least 5 years ago now. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated. Leanne

Tenterfield Terrier A big dog in a small package. Easy care and very loyal dogs. Tenties are smart and would do anything to please you. Tenties also do well at obedience and especially love agility. Most love swimming and have no issue's with big dogs, because they really are big dogs, particularly if they are raised with big dogs. Children can easily walk most tenties and they adapt to the varying needs of each family member. Happy to be a lounge dog one minute and ready and able to play fetch the next. I guess I'm a tad biased tho.

Great Rugs NSW make trailer beds to suit - if your trailer is a standard size and make they shouldn't have a problem. just google them The other option is to get Clarke Rubber to cut foam to size and find someone that make horse rugs or a canvas place to cover them for you

What Don't Most People Know About Your Breed?
Tentapride replied to RallyValley's topic in General Dog Discussion
Tenterfield Terriers are not a cross between a fox terrier and a JRT and many are extremely adept climbers. I once witnessed a 5-6 week old pup climb to the top of a 3 foot high pen! -
I know I am jumping in late here but.......... by any chance had the pup been given any green coloured chews??????? anything containing food dye can change the colour of the poop and often causes bowel irritations. Also over feeding can be a culprit for both vomiting and diarrea (spl)
