  1. I'm so glad this has turned out good for you Didles!! I can't wait to see pics of your little man...will help pass the time until I get our little girl. Not long to go now...
  2. I couldn't of said it better myself!! I agree 100%... My breeder has been great with emails and pics...it makes it so much easier trusting the person you have given thousands of dollars to!
  3. ;) Can I borrow your dog.....that is priceless!!!
  4. I agree completely Didles!! While these are living, breathing little bundles of joy, the breeder is willing to take thousands of dollars in exchange for a pup, making it a business transaction. To hand over faulty (sick) goods and not offer refund or reimbursement of expenses is completely disgusting!! You do the deed, you deserve everything that comes after, including the damage to your reputation. I think it's wrong that they can't be named and shamed...protect other buyers who might be handing over $3000-$4000 of their very hard earned money.
  5. OMG that is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!
  6. Refund!!! Geez...the past few weeks have been really puting me off buying...luckily I found a great breeder prior to al this or I would of changed my mind about getting a new pup!
  7. I can't believe that people actually have the balls to pull this kind of stunt when they obviously know this forum exisits and that they would end up with a very bad rep...bad for business don't you think!! I am so sorry the both of you have had this horrible drama and stress at a time that should be so exciting and wonderful!! Hope all the effected puppies pull through and have wonderful lives in their new homes!!
  8. We pick up our British Bulldog pup on Saturday...we have decided to name her Ruby and have almost everything she needs. I am soooooo excited!!
  9. We have owned 3 APBT's purchased from reputable breeders in the past and I found them to be the most loving and gentle dogs I have ever known. Personally I would have trusted our APBT's with our children/babies any day, over my mothers chihuahua!! All three would watch our kids as babies/toddlers protectively and get all concerned if they tripped or hurt themselves. They tolerated having ears and tails pulled, little hands stealing dog biscuits out of their bowls while eating, and being climbed all over. Though our dogs were very well socialized and professionally obedience trained. It amuses me the most when you hear about a dog attack by a vicious APBT...and see it on the news or in the paper and it is a staf cross or some other breed, looking nothing at all like an APBT!!
  10. We had 2 APBT's about 10yrs ago and had one PTS due to cancer. She was buried about 1.5-2m down. Our male dog dug her up about 2 weeks later, dragged her across the yard and put her in their kennel. The flesh off her back legs started to fall off so he ate that and her tail....and a stick punctured her VERY bloated belly. The smell and mess was putrid...not to mention the emotional damage of seeing a much loved pet in that condition. I will never be doing that again!
