  1. have sent you a message ;) This sounds a bit familar to me.
  2. What a clever boy you have, sound like you have the waking up down pack. Sounds like a newborn getting up for there feeds. Have to add that he is beautiful, his colours are great. Hoot, you will be fine, may not sleep the night before but you will be right. I am so glad I have found this place you guys are great.
  3. We are okay it is the kids that are worst, I have packed away the puppy stuff so that should help, hubby found another one and organized for me to go down so I rang yesterday morning to let her know I was running late and she said it wasn't good and that she told my husband that she did not want anyone till friday (I know he stuffs up sometimes but I believe him on this one) so I said I think we should leave that one too. I think I am just wary, funny thing but today the guy with the original pup left a message that he was ready for pick up today, the vet said yesterday that he will not be sending them home till the end of the week, was tempted, but. I may have something lined up won't be until August but this person sounds like a very caring person/dog owner and may be the one for us, we have decided that we don't need a puppy now we would rather wait for the right one to come to us, don't get me wrong I would love to have a pup now but I am being very cautious of the people we buy from now. We may even get a chance at an older dog that has just come to her under horrible circumstances which we have said we would love to meet her and see if she clicks with us. No long now, fingers crossed for you that your weekend will be fun, oh and MORE pics please I would love to see these babies.
  4. In this instance I was thankful, although my vet was willing to speak to him if he wasn't going to talk to me. He felt that it would of been his stamped on the vaccination records so why not be upfront. It has been upsetting but I have had a number of people offer to help out and though that I think we will get a puppy one day, hopefully this year sometime.
  5. Thank you FD26, we hope so too as do the kids they are pretty upset about it but we have not told them the extent of it we will later, now we are just looking around for breeders and back to buying more stuff hehe
  6. Just letting you know that we are not getting this puppy. I found the vet that has been treating him, after speaking to my own vet for advice, and the puppy is extremely sick with parvo, worms and he does not think he will make it. The vet that is treating him said if it was him he would not purchase him. The vet told me that he had given this litter there parvo vacs at 6 weeks but they must of been exposed to it before they had it. He said that he feels embarrassed and is reporting this registered breeder to the powers that be as when the pup arrived he was very dehydrated, and lethargic, something, he feels should of been acted on before. He is worried about the other pups of the litter that have gone to homes. I have to say this vet was fantastic and put my mind at rest about what is going on. I would also like to add that this breeder has removed all listings and breeder info from this site, the have erased themselves from the breed which again looks a but suspicious. So my gut feeling was right in this situation. So now we are still looking for our puppy and have 3 very upset children, it has been a truly horrible experience. I know that the breeder did the right thing at the beginning but just plain lying about the whole was not needed, he could of been honest with how sick this poor little guy is. I am hoping that the right pup is out there for us and one day we will find him. Thanks for all the helpful advice I have really appreciated it.
  7. ohhh too cute, he is loving his crate!!!! Well update he has parvo as well as a couple of things I found the vet (long story) he said that he would be walking from this as one it does not look good and two he is making a complaint to some authorities so have emailed the so called breeder and let them know that I would like my deposit back. The vet was great and honest and confirmed a couple of things I was thinking. So we are back looking for a british bulldog pup. I will keep looking in here as they are all beautiful puppies.
  8. Yes and was told the same thing, it's not that it's that they removed everything to do with themselves, puppies listing, breeder listings everything, thats why I am thinking the worst. I would ask for the vets number if they answer the phone. Yes we did pay a deposit when we picked him not much but still a few hundred dollars, they did ask for a direct deposit for the rest but I said no will pay when I pick him up.
  9. Well still no puppy and am starting to think the worst. Hubby rang yesterday to be told that he is at the vets and needs to be there for three days for the vet to clear him, which sounded strange to me considering it was a " reaction to vaccinations" so I went up to our vet yesterday, only at end of street very handy, and they thought that is strange and a bit much as a 3 day stay in there eyes is one very sick puppy. So another thing the breeder has removed all ads and breeder listings from the dogzonline site (this is were we found them) Which has me thinking big time. But what I dont get is that we physically saw the pups and picked him out. The guys story is changing and he wont lock in a time to pick up as suggested leaving till this Friday coming. Very strange. On another note, boy that pup is tooooo cute. Hope you are very loads of fun with him.
  10. Yes, he is eating now and we are waiting for the breeder to call when he is 100% which I understand it may be tomorrow if things are going as they are. Thanks for asking.
  11. No, Nothing yet Littlehoot. Everytime the phones rings I jump but now we just wait. A Pug how cute. Jack Russells are nice too we had a mini foxie a while ago and a boxer but long story we don't have them anymore. Hubby has always wanted a bulldog and we are now in the right place to welcome one into our home. Funny thing is that I am more excited than him. I have loads of kongs all sorts, then I found this giant flea and thought too cute. I don't want to know how much I have spent.
  12. How exciting, so what is everyone getting? sorry for being ignorent but I don't look at the first page anymore. Is anyone else like me and can't resist buying stuff? I did my groceries this afternoon and bought another chew toy, one very spoilt puppy winston will be...
  13. Show dog, I was told that they would ring after they tried feeding him and if that wasn't good taken him to the vet and they did not so I think I can be a little stressed out and not knowing. I suppose if you were in the situation and not had any experience in this you may of acted the same. I know it is not about my son, and I totally respected what the breeder did my only upset was with the lack of contact. What I did was not what I would call hounding a text message and an email. But if people wish to read things differently fair enough Sand, he was the only one sick out of the litter, the had two mummies at the same time and they had about 13 puppies all up.
  14. Still waiting, spoke to the breeder not long ago, it was a reaction to the vacs. He is eating now but would like to wait till he is 100%, try telling that to my 7yr old. He is not feeling well (summer cold) and this is not helping everything is a drama I think he is using other things to get his emotions out. I had a long talk with him and said that this is better because we don't want a sick puppy and that the man will ring well everything is perfect. The breeder seems to think tonight or tomorrow, as he asked if I had anythings planned, I do but I can changed things about.
  15. I had rang but no answer. I sent an email as they have always been quick to respond to them and they phoned me within minutes. it had been a reaction to vacs so we will see how he is today and if not the next day. That was all I wanted was an answer. Now my 7yr old is counting down till 3pm to ring them. Thank you for all the replies they did help just a very stressed and worried mum to be thats all.
  16. thats what thought, if I was them a quick text message is not much. It is only our pup that s unwell. I do understand they are doing the responsible thing but the lack of communication is bothering me, not having answers to tell my kids.
  17. OKay so we were suppose to pick up our baby boy today but the breeder rang and said he was off his morning food, will try again for lunch if its fine I could come down then. So I ring again at 2pm and he tells me that he was just about to do it and it didn't look good and leave it for a couple of days. Now I get he did do the right thing letting us know that things arent good. So later on Tonight (about 8:30pm) I sent a text asking if everything is fine, if he took him to the vet, and when would we be able to pick him up. I have heard nothing, would you communicate a bit more if you were the breeder? My kids are really upset as they were expecting to come home and he would be here. I just think that it has been a poor effort. Hubby wants to go there tomorrow and see whats what. Any ideas what I can do next?
  18. Not good, he said he has not tried food will be shortly, but will be taking him to the vets, in said in the next day or two. My kids are going to be upset, not only that we thought having a quiet weekend would be easier for him to settle instead of mid week but oh well. Fingers crossed he improves some..
  19. Beautiful pics, I had a golden lab growing up, he was the best thing ever.
  20. I know he is doing the right thing. No runny poo so that is good, he said he will wait till after he has given them lunch, if all okay then I can go later today.
  21. Well the breeder just rang me, my pup didn't eat this morning so he wants me to delay picking him up. He said it could be nothing but he just wants to be careful. Pretty bummed about it but what can you do? Congrats on the arrival tyre guy, and good luck with everyone elses pups.
  22. My baby comes on Friday..... sooooo excited got everything except the mince for him, will get that on the way home so it will be fresh. My kids are excited too. I have read a million things about crate training and everything in between. The only concern I have is my middle son, he is very scraed of dogs, (a spectrum of Autism) any tips for him. It is strange puppys he relates to but as they get older he gets scrared, I am hoping that with him growing up with us that everything will be fine. Anyhoos friday is the day look out for pics.
  23. We think of the mess we have to clean up when we get home?? I have the option of leaving him with my parents they have a general store which they also have the house joined to so they are there 24/7 but I can not keep asking them to mind him, though they do like the idea of grand puppy my dads words all the fun but no poop to clean up or vet bills to pay for. I did ask on another thread but still waiting for answer.
  24. well we are very excited here, just waiting to hear back from the breeder to find out an exact time to pick him up. We have planned out his first weekend, very quiet we will be at home as hubby has found out UFC is on one HD so his mates are coming round, which is good as it will get him used to people. Still wondering what I will do when I do go out and leave him. Our backyard is not suitable, full sun not much shade. Staying inside is not a huge problem I just dont know what to to about a loo spot. Planning on getting on a doggy door but we are stuck with the size, not sure the biggest will do. Cant wait and we will post pics asap!
