Thanks I love her dearly. There's been quite devastating news in the past week and her litter sister that was kept by the breeder has had to have majer surgery after being hit by a car She will not be shown again due to the damage, but will hopefully have a healthy life. thats terrible i hope she recovers quickly and lives a happy full life

thanks valley lots to learn just had another breeder email a big lot of info on clicker and she said she will help me on sat/sun so that is good i will understand it yet lol

I used to wait for Mason to do the behaviour on his own and then click and treat, for eg the sit, i waited until he was sitting, clicked treated and said good sit - I lured him for the drop though and then clicked and treated. thanks will try it out when she hasn't just had a meal rofl

just brought myself a clicker now to test it out so i get her to do a command click then treat is that right????? then how do i eventually fade it out??? how does she know the click means she is doing it right should i sit with her click and treat for a while before intergrading it into training??? tahnks for advice

Yep the 2 red kids were mind and the Aussie was Bedazzleds. I had the clicker out and was using it as front presents have gone wayward and I also had Soggybear out and was clicking and treating bits with her. We had a chair out in the middle of the ring and needed to make sure she was confident that the chair wasn't going to get her ok i will get me a clicker the golden was being clicker trained and is so much moer focussed than my spirited rotti but i dont want to break her spirit so i let her get away with a bit rofl. oh the chair is scary is it i was watching helena work her border collie before training started boy am i jealous i hope i can get my dogs to that level oh thats bedazzled. my friend and i met her in better pets and gardens and my friend did some tricks with her dog wish i had of known it was her rofl would of said hi she did give us some pointers though :D and he is so adorable :D

lol - I got a couple of pigs head and all the 'lights' for free from my groomer and it took me ages in a freezing garage chopping everything up and portioning it up for freezing in the middle of a Scottish winter - but it was free so I wasn't gonna say no to it :p I also got deer carcasses from someone I knew who did shooting - the postie got a shock one day when he knocked on the open door and popped his head round and I had a small carcass in the sink and a bloody cleaver in my hands with blood stained washing up gloves on I reassured him it was just a deer and he said 'hey I don't want to know what goes on in the privacy of your home Congratulations Kelari :D That would of been awesome i keep telling hubby we should go roo or rabbit hunting for the dogs thanks for the congrats ;)

Must be the day for it bonduca :p my girl Kelari took out baby in group today at the metropolitan kennel club inc open show i am still in shock and we got or first ever fringe :D

Sorry, I'm frustrated with all the abbreviations and such too, but I've started using them as well now SV = Swedish Vallhund, yes Also, good news, just asked my breeder and there's no pricechange for a breeding-quality pup! I feel so lucky to have such a good breeder!! \ thanks i know most breeds don't know about a swedish vallhund so will have to look into them. thats great will your breeder support you and offer advice for the future ifyou want to breed? mine does i even got to stay at hers and steal her bed lol great friends now

are they reasonably priced? i went there once and they didn't have what i wanted and haven't been back since lol. i get minced chicken carcasses for $1.40 a kilo a box of chicken carcasses for $12.00 necks for i think $3.00 each. pigs heads for $10 ea from the local butcher and lennards I've seen them pig heads at the Midland butcher they make me feel sad my rotti's love them i get them cut in half and its a whole day's worth of food, the only part that doesn't get eaten is the jaw it must be too tough but hte brains the eyes the skin and the rest of the bone all get eaten. i was a little iffy at first but yeah hubby has even cooked one up on the bbq after watching masterchef lol.

can i ask what an SV is?? My rotti pup is hopefully going to join in my breeding program i got my prefix and i own my pup's mother (but i sent her back to her breeder for her litter) i hope that both girls will be the start of my foundation well one is so far lol
