What our vet did in 2005 was file their canines down and so if they fought they hardly hurt one another as it was not an option for us to re-home one, as much as they fought they also really love one another. Now at almost 11 they dont fight anymore at all. After the 2005 fight the leadership position moved from one dog to the other, the ' lower' ranking dog accepted her new leader and no more probs! Unfortunately mine wouldn't stop fighting it was a daily occurence. hubby even seperated the yard and they still got to each other. now the hardest decision was rehome zeus who we just got back after he was stolen three years earlier or th replacement dog zephyr who was brought as a guard dog as hubby workdon the mines and i didn't get to choose him and i always compared him to zeus who i wasn't over. unfair yes i know a close friend was thinking of getting a rotti for a guard dog (yes i know all the debates about this lol) as she owns poodle rofl. i offered her z on a trial and it has all worked out excpet he is a chook killer but she does let the chicken roam free hmmmm and i still get to see him which is great. i would of made it work if this option didn't come available though

Awww the poor gentleman at least he is doing the right thing. Hope mason's ear heals soon. When i got Zeus back him and Zephyr were both alphas and the brawls they had were terrible, thankfully if i spoke they stopped but it was asfer for oth to have one live witha friend now or i think i would of found one very injured when i wasn't home

I know i agree. I have told my cousin's mum to take it further. WTF ;) Do police get involved in things like that over here, as in the UK, or is it all dealt with by the rangers? I am not sure i am sure if there had of been blood involved they'd get involved. I actually pmed jacqi lol. great minds :D I know it makes it so hard as she lives next door ihave offered my babies so she doesn't develop a fear of the breed. I just hope we can get it sorted even if it is declared dangerous. on another sad note lost another female puppy tonight it just started fading then it passed away. Fly free lil angel join your sisters and romp freely

*WARNING VENT* my 8 year old cousin got bitten by a rotti (not mine the dog in question is just an extension of what his owner lacks) she has a big bruise on her leg and her pjs got torn. owner told ranger cousin ran dogs foot over hence it is justified :S ranger told cousins mum to let my cousin make friends with the dog and he isn't pursuing it any further. Am seeking advice to see if it can be taken further as cousin was just walking on path and the owner after being spoken too didn't even apologise and refuses to muzzle. no dog should attack a child unprovoked and get a second chance and as its my breed involved i am even madder (almost want to go take the rotti and give it some training) the owner doesn't deserve him Oka vent over.

I don't take toys with me to the river. If the dogs leave them, I don't want to go in and get them and I don't want to lose them either! So they stay at home :D The only time I take toys is to the beach, I take their Kong Wubbas that float, so if they don't retrieve it, I can go in and get it myself But Millie is my new keen water retriever, who woulda thunk it - not me!! This dog hates water lol i mostly lose balls after zeus has punctured them and they sink
-
no i am fine heading in opposite direction i believe but i do have friends in the close vicinity. hope all will be ok.

No they don't pop up often although I know the breeder that we got Onyx from has just done a mating of the same lines. There are sure to be lots of Agouti pups :D if i had space and the time i'd consider it. when they skin kids move out of home i would love a long haired dog but right now i will stick to the rotts but i am definately in love You can find out more here http://www.huskycolors.com/colors.html thankyou. mirawee agree the shepherd is a lovely colour

I would call that chocolate and tan, not red. In my mind a red rottie would be solid red, like a red min pin is. fair enough but its classed as red and is very undesirable

i love the agouti sibe beautiful
