  1. well done hoep you make it on tiume on sat as mel and jase may need you to help handle one of the girls if they both make it to challenge lol just to put some more pressure on you
  2. Haha what a great story. Can't imagine why anyone would be without a microchip nowadays! It's invaluable and this article proves it. How upsetting to have lost your dog for all that time though 2 days??? At least it wasn't 3 years like mine. And yes thanks to is microchip i got him reunited with me.
  3. oooo bummer she was one of the judges for my breed. hope she feels better soon
  4. our obedience club allows pups form 8 weeks with first vacc. it is a sports oval and they have a little fenced ff area for pupsyes it is possible to have people use it during hte week but it is a risk i take with my breed for the socialisation
  5. I use the diy hydro at better pets at midlnd and it is always clean. you have to allow time to disenfect the tub after washing your dogs and the ladies and gents at midlnad (i know a few and have seen them) go and clean it on a regular basis too. mine are show dogs and so most weekends get a bath never got one get ill form using it either
  6. bahahahahahahaha i could so see you saying htis though so that makes me laugh harder
  7. It depends on the breed and dog, but alot of bitches will fight to the death more, males have tiffs and get over it.. there was a thread on here awhile back. I know with the dogs I show (there are 8 dogs in the backyard, 3 entire males, 2 desexed females and 3 entire females) it is the bitches that will occasionally cause the serious problems requiring vet treatment- the males do get into small scraps over food/attention every now and then, but nothing serious. I think Mason will be fine I know You're girls seem to love everyone... (which is why you have to bring them down and give them a try at dog sledding when the season starts *hint hint* ) hehehehehe yes they are an exception to the rule lol. squid is still too little she is only 11 months ;) but i so will when she is older 18 months,. though chandra did challenge her mother in qld and her mother went for her throat :S so my breed will fight to the death if her breeder wasnt there to intervene
  8. WELL DONE OI my two girls get on fine, well for now they do lol
  9. Thanks emery Ruby could actually stand to lose a kilo, so I have reduced her food again. Both my girls weigh approx 23.5 - 24 kilos each. a kilo is that all ;) that weight sounds so skinny to my fat rottis lol. 36/37 last weigh in and the pup still needs maybe a kilo and a half more thankfully she started to eat during her season and her mother needs to lose about 2 lol
  10. took my three rottis to whiteman park today with the kids and hubby they had a good run int he dog park before other dogs came. we then took kids to the playground all dogs layed happily waiting and we had three families come and ask for pats of course i sadi yes ;) 1 maltese that escaped her/his owner and come runnign to us. my three stood there tails wagging lol. and two kids come from no where and start patting them. they took it all in their stride and it made for a lovely change going out with them no negativity
  11. LOL! It was horrible down there Lisa- and the drive home was scary lol trees down. Grangers crate started to blow away it was so windy! It was horrible down geez that sounds terrible ;) love these menatl image guess it didn't help him though. Who took out BIS?
  12. Agreed, and an obvious waist tuck. We did a health check in my TAFE class for a Rottweiler and one of the questions was circle their weight (Underweight / Average / Overweight). Everyone in my group were adamant it was a good weight, so circled average. You could not see the outline of the last rib and there was no waist tuck, and it was just tubby IMO, so I went against the trend and circled overweight  However, if I had taken my Labs in to be assessed, I would put money on that the same group of people would have circled Underweight for mine. Some people just don't have a clue and opinions differ greatly on what is a good weight! your labs look great rubystar. poor ounderfd pups that they are rofl
  13. we only got some wind here it was strongish bt not over the top it was muggy as all hell and we lost power sometime last night hubby woke me at three am to see if the light would work why he couldn't test his i don't know. was sweating ewwwwww thankfully whilst he was on the phone to western power it came back on

I went in after going to the gym... felt like a dork in my green gym top, but thought I probably wouldnt bump into anyone i knew on a wed night yeah i was filling chips lol. i am in my own world when filling rofl just came say hi
  17. i got work on wed. thinkt he boss would kick my a if i take another day off for a show lol well i haven't told him about the classic yet i might just have to be sick cough cough
  18. i'll tell my two rotti girls that will be shown on their snake collars tonight that they should be headless. one is never checked she beahvaes so well and on occasion the pup may get a rather slight correction its normally verbal though. I got mine form the show ground show shop at canine and both cost about $50 no idea of brand though sorry. they are both going strong
  19. Sure can rally my boss had a go at me tonight for booking tomorrow off for a dog show rofl he don't understand Nope, the Boxer in the last issue was Charlie, owned by Vickie (or Clemevi on here) Emery I'm thinking of comming down tomorrow night to do some training with Rumour and show the Wheaten.. I'll have to come over to see how big Chandras gotten!! Bondi just got back from her 2nd bowen session- she had thrown her lower end out (probably doing zoomies on the floorboards) which had put her muscles into spasm, which explains the incontinence (which only lasted one day thankgod, and she seems fine now) Her upper body and muscles around the spine were still all good and hadn't reverted to how it was before her first treatment which is goood Excellent come say hi and get cuddles
  20. Ptolomy if you are looking for a handler on fri I will be there with the rottis, i believe they are being judged seperately so as long as they don't clash i am willing to help out. fell free to come find me. i may not get back on here as this is the laptop broadband as my inet on main computer is down at the moment and i am not sure how much funds i have on here
  21. We can't all have people who will drop their plans to look after a bitch in season for us, and how can you know that your bitch is safe in boarding kennels, just ridiculous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing a bitch in season. It's allowed in the rules so all the show dogs have to cope, poor things ! For the handler it's just something you have to deal with not "bitch" about There is absolutely no way I would trust a pet sitter or boarding kennel with my in season bitch! sneaky dogs and large wire disaster waiting to happen
  22. Can we pay extra if he is a bit of eye candy, too? Should have been at the beach this morning, so many buff guys have not seen so many in one place before and you never told us to you got homne how rude I know that was selfish on my part lol ..... very they say sharing is caring :D
