The weather was rather hot both days and sunday after the 5 minute shower muggy as hell. Saturday i got a reserve cc with chance. And now for my BRAG Sunday under judge, Mr l.j. Heilmann from SA Chance got awarded reserve CC (was told he was a little too immature for the cc (up against a 3 year old he is 12 months understandable) but that he has alovely head and will mature very nice in time *judges words*) then went on under the same judge to be awarded> wait for it... JUNIOR OF GROUP  I am still floating on cloud 9 it is my first ever win at a championship show i have got a Baby of group with Kelari at an open show. Can not wipe the smile off of my face :D

emery replied to SwaY's topic in General Dog Discussion
Bahahaha my junior boy on the weekend for his breed class, danced aroudn the ring, tap danced on the spot tried to molest the judge for bait (he had none rofl) and made an arse of me and him. Congrats to the owner of the other dog in the ring who kept and earnt her dogs attention whilt all this distraction was going on. -
Someone forgot to tell kelari sh has a black coat she sunbakes out in the sun in 40 degree weather idiot she is *said with affection*

Yep she'll be 2 but no rush for me to do it with her i am the unfit one, i do have a friend who has offered might get her to do it with Chandra first see how she goes then do squid in '13
-
as long as there is no riding through sand i will be find man i struggle on sand when its just me rofl never mind the dog maybe she can pull me over sand if there is :D
-
squid is almost 21 months i would of course do some training but maybe not at strict as some its hard with three kids lol
-
I am actually tempted to do it with little training as squid is very fit, a few rottis are the same rocked up ont he day and passed no worries no extra training. They were bred to work all day and as long as they are not heavy etc i can see most passing no worries . as long as i do it on a bike i reckon i could do it too :D
-
Bahahahaha i keep saying ia m going to do then never start training lol. I reckon squid who is the energser bunny could do it no worries if i build my fitness up which i need to for the rotti national next year unless someone wants to come help me by being a runner I mgiht be able to do it rofl

Behaviours That Could Lead To Dominance
emery replied to lovemyrottie's topic in General Dog Discussion
OK my three rotties do not know they are dominant then They bring me toys, lean on me and sit on me heavy sods They also do go through doors before me One constantly hits my hand with her head for scratches. but never once have they dared challenge me I let them do it as they know I am boss and they respect me they listen when told to stop, they get off the bed or couch (except the girls when hubby asks they look at him like you gotta be joking :p) Cuddily teddy bears with boundaries :D -
St hope Ari is ok and feeling better. I want to do the ET i know i said that last year but yeah well i want to do it with squid, how do you know how fast you are going? have you got attachments for the bike or something?? well maybe i better get a bike first PMSL

when did this happen RS ? so sorry but at training all the time we tell people to lock their cars, to park under or near lights etc. A few months ago they were removing whole windows. At Tuesday training one night they had a field daythere were dogs in cars and still stuff stolen. Sorry but really we all know abouth the rotten thieving and know heaps of people who have been robbed. We really really need to lock our cars and park under the lights. I saw a car on Tuesday with "all valuables have been removed from my car" I think that is a great idea. My biggest fear is something will happen to a dog, or a puppy stolen. I have sleepless nights about it. Sorry about your phone ..was it insured ? This makes me nervous as i take 3 kids i leave them in the car i park right where i see it though but still :s

oh no rs the mongrel we have watched one guy before try several cars to Hubby scared him off i hope the cops get them sucks its not covered by insurance hope ruby is ok if she was in car

Knock Knock Knock. Who is it? Answer door to neighbour down the road holding Chandra. Lisa is this one of yours? How the heck did she get out? Thanks. GO check pups are in yard. Gah they gone too gate hadn't shut properly oops. Start walking up street to find them Andrew walks out into yard and yells Kelari, Chance and whistles next thing i see two black blobs bolting up the street straight to Andrew, Thank heavens for recall and for the neighbour bringing Chandra back and alerting us to the fact the dogs were out. Major freak out I would of been in hysterics when I disovered them missing in the morning

Grand Champions & (new Title) Supreme Champions
emery replied to SwaY's topic in General Dog Discussion
Well said. While titles appear impressive, the quality (incl. temperament) of the animal is what counts. I'm a complete novice to the show arena, which may work in my favour when it comes to perceptions about whether or no a dog is worthy of a particular title. In addition, I'm finding it a challenge to even receive lessons on showing (they are held late at night at some distance from me), let alone compete in the field (most shows seem also to be held in the evenings and at the same venue in Perth, WA). I do, however, consider my pup is very much show quality, and I feel the competitive 'vibe' from other, more experienced, exhibitors who view him. Neither his Dam or Sire currently hold titles. For our wa shows as of december they become evening shows to about march due to heat they then go back to sat and sun shows. there are people around perth that do private trianing not at canine sorry for going ot -
So sorry to hear RIP willow
