Bunbury always put on a lovely show, with friendly stewards and lovely judges. I was hoping to see my sister in law whilst down there but unfortunately she was working but still an enjoyable trip :) lovely prizes too i was shocked they had gazebo mats for in show awards and a gazebo for bis, first aid kits for big and notebook, pen and calculator box set for ruigs

  9. Bunbury and Districts Dog Club Open Show. Judge: Mrs I. Homer Chandra expertly handled by Makaela BOB, RUBIG, Open in group. Kelari handled by Amy, reserve challenge, Chance RUBOB, Junior in group. Good day very happy :) MG i hope you get to the core of gibbs problem soon
  10. Tobster after reading he has been swimming a fair bit i wonder if she is washing th salt form his coat it may be irritating him i have to wash the sand and salt from my rottis coat or they get itchy
  11. white things in the coat could it be dander?? i would reccomend treating the dog with frontline etc as fleas are bad at the moment in perth imo. also could it be a hotspot? cos that does cause hair to fall out. poor dog hope your family figures it out tobster. Rubystar glad to hear millie is up and about hope she isn't in too much pain
  12. Good luck Millie moo.. hoep surgery goes well. ness hope you get to the bottom of your girls issues too
  13. I always list if its an open or a champ show. my very first ever win was with my girl at an open show i got baby in group, then short listed for baby in show. Man i was over the moon, who gives a hoot it was an open show :) My next win was a specialty show (open) my boy took out best puppy open show again i am shouting that to the world, i have got a junior in group (champ) show with him and both my older girls have gone V rated at a specialty they are my wins for the 2.5 years i have been showing and they mean so much to me, man if i got a rubis be it an open show or champ show i'll be shouting it to the world but i wouldn't put it on my name nless a champ show
  14. Good luck to hemi, hope you get a decent instructor :) i went to watch once with a dog who was fearful of the car so we were doing training with him (positive obviously) dog would get severely car sick, a trainer walked past and says, " just bloody pick him up" yeah that was gonna solve his issues :S That was my experience with them years ago and haven't been back since so they may be a lot better now :)
  15. i got my DN today woohoo, now to work out hubbies roster and see what i can enter if any LOL I am hoping to take chance to show training tonight as we are doing the bunbury open show and i haven't done any training with him really i do stacking at dinner times but that is about it but neighbours just invited me to dinner so will see what happens :)
  16. Yeah i and a good friend scribed for the masters course though by the fifth dog i knew all the scores of each challenge and whether or not the dog had successfully completed the course.
  17. Was lovely to see you too, the tollers did good and congrats on your qualify was it?? i saw amypie, ruby star and and and and and i know i saw someone else b ut i have had so little sleep got home at 1:15, had to pick up the baby who barely slept as he had needles yesterday i am craving a nap hoping he goes to sleep soon. I quite enjoyed my night and my judge Vicki was so lovely and helpful to us complete noobs, I think we scribed everything correctly and had fun puttin together the courses. I reckon after dealing with the snooker games i could quite easily scribe that again that was easy although the paperwork was daunting lol. All in all a good night. Congrats to those that came first second or third, passed or qualified or just had lots of fun, a lot of the dogs seemed to be having a blast i did see a few people that obviosuly take it very seriously but i guess that is like any sport :)
  18. I reckon i will be able to spot the toller :) i think i will recognise you from tuesday's when you are ob training on the oval when i go to show training, you and bedazzled are probably the two that i would recognise the easiest :D

I never realised how that sounded :D i did take one dog to the school to get the kids :) Well its like training dogs, repetition and rewards :D No at home he will eat in any order but at school they must eat their sandwich first so i am trying to teach that so he knows, he was very ahpyp to eat it first then his lcm bar (treat) throw rubbish, pack bag then go play :D
