I think it must depend on the rescue organisation. We do not charge a change of ownership fee, we have always covered that. As Ams mentioned tho, they do seem to take their time updating and processing details!

I've just about finished the 365 challenge this year, after 3 years of attempting! Think I'll do the 365 again next year, has been much easier since I just committed to an iphone photo a day! :laugh: Maybe post a photo a week in here too, but not sure yet.

I have two dogs and neither of them are phased by storms :)

Lort Smith Animal Hospital just happens to be a couple of blocks from the Lost Dogs Home so we are always being confused. Lort Smith Shelter is a very, very low kill shelter, the dogs & cats are treated like family and we are all devastated if we ever need to make the call to euthanise an animal and trust me it is not through lack of trying to help them and it is not very often at all. Our shelter is a lot smaller than others as we are primarily an animal hospital. We are not a pound, we only take surrendered dogs & cats and there is no time limit on how long can stay to find a home. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me, I work in the shelter at Lort Smith and have done for the past almost 7 years :)

Maverick & I will be at the Lort Smith stall on Friday :) Will also be avoiding certain stalls like the plague but looking forward to have a look at the other reputable stalls, especially happy to see the Rotties will be there! :love:
