Dogs Little Accidents On Your Carpet.

I have used all different remedies & sprays in the past. I picked up a bottle of X-Out Pet Odour Removal at the Pet Expo a couple of weeks ago & it has been the best of far! It doesn't mask the smell, it completely removes it. When we have foster puppies or kittens that have accidents, we just draw up the accident with paper towel and then heavily spray the area with this stuff. It has worked really well for us and it is not all that expensive I find it works a lot better then Urine Off which I have used in the past. X-Out Website -
Studio Sebastian Bowls Anyone know what SS' next Melbourne event would be? Really keen to get one or two of the big water bowls. Might try and give them a buzz.
-
My boys have These Bowls as their inside bowls. They don't seem to be to rough with them and I always check for cracks while washing them before every meal.

OMG! How adorable! :banghead:

Supervised meetings from day one of getting them home. Correct bad behaviour. My dogs have grown up with my cats and if the dogs do anything the cats don't like they get a smack across the nose, so they quickly learnt. Have fun with your new baby!

Dog Hates New Neighbours :(

Oh good idea, might try an outdoor radio. I have got the area of fence sectioned off now with a puppy play pen spread out. He has been inside with me today and just going out for supervised toilet breaks. -

Befoe we condemn the neighbors, the dog might not like them because they look different, smell different, speak differently etc. Don't forget Hector is from an unknown background and may have been poorly socialized as a puppy. Fwiw, my very happy, social boy doesn't like people with cleft pallets (and only when they speak). Dorsnt mean they're bad :-) Hector was very well socialised with people & dogs from a very, very young age. And soon as he was fully vacc'd he was attending the monthly DOL meets -

Dog Hates New Neighbours :(

Thanks for the tips Dandy. We are getting mesh/wire stuff dug down into the ground and attached to the fence to stop the digging under and then a pit of ping? wire at the top.. I think it is ping wire (some stuff that is low voltage?) I'm not sure but it is all been organised by a good friend of ours. Then we are getting a dog trainer/behaviourist out to see what they can do. -
Oh how adorable!! :D ;)

Dog Hates New Neighbours :(

Okay so we are getting someone around on the weekend and we are going to fix the fences and change them to stop him going under & or over. We have also been recommended to try a citronella collar for the morning barking that he is apparently doing. I'm not sure how effective these are but I am happy to try anything at this stage. For the three days I am working this week I am going to take him to work with me. I am also in the middle of organising a professional trainer to come in and suss out the situation. I really appreciate everyones feedback. This will all be done with the best interest of Hector in mind. -

We will be looking into the fencing issues, it could be that he is climbing it as opposed to jumping it. I also understand that it is illegal to rehome fence jumpers, I work in a shelter. I am looking into everything physically possible. I will have to take him to work with me tomorrow incase he decides to do it again tomorrow. -

It is an approx 6 - 7ft wood fence. I heard him barking and growling and went outside and realised he was on the other side of the fence. I went around and knocked on the door and they let me through to get him. They are scared of dogs so I found out this morning. -

He has been in a run previously with no problems, he normally just lays around and chews on his bones. It is just since the new neighbours moved in, there is really something about them he really doesn't like. We will be looking into a professional before we make the final decision. I really appreciate everyones replies. Next I speak to the neighbours I will tell them to move please :D -

I might try getting up at 4am to take them for a quick walk. They do get a massive off lead run 2 - 3 times a week at an enclosed area. I will look into getting a camera to film him to see what he gets up too or on my day off I will do what you said and pretend I am going out like normal and sneak up on him. -
