  3. www.picmonkey.com is pretty cool, much like Picnik :)
  4. Thanks! I think I will do just that! hehe :D
  5. So I got an email from CameraPro saying that they have been chasing up my 50mm 1.8 lens with Nikon. Nikon have told them that the lens has not been officially discontinued, production has been indefinitely delayed! They have offered for me to wait for the 50mm 1.8 which could be up to months or pick another lens. I'm still keen to stay with the 50mm as it has been a brilliant little lens in the past, might have to consider upgrading to the 1.4 or maybe cancelling the order and trying to get the lens at like Ted's Camera store or such. hmm. ETA - or maybe I want the 85mm 1.8 as well? Change my order to the 85mm 1.8 through CameraPro and get the 50mm 1.8 at Teds? ahh so confused! Opinions welcome!
  6. Thanks! :D Yep I had/have the 7D, which I still use daily for photos of the animals for adoption at work :) Thanks so much for the comment snook! I will definitely take it on board! Justice
  7. Thanks MnDM & tlc :D It's a brilliant camera, still learning where everything is, bit different to the Canon! Mitchy is super cute, he was surrendered with a smashed jaw which had to be wired, so his face is a little wonky, but that adds to his character! Not taken with the D700, but here is a photo of Willow :D
  8. Kiarla [snarly Karly] Jelly Mitchy [Foster]
  9. Well I finally caved and bought the Nikon D700 that I have been drooling over  Along with the 100mm Micro (macro), 28-300mm & just waiting on the 50mm 1.8 to arrive. Just thought I would share a couple of shots. It works so amazingly in low light! Comments & Criticism Welcomed! :D Mouse Mikey Oliver Maverick Raegan
  10. Love this pic! What lens did you use MM? Thanks! I used the 28 - 300mm (I think that's it ) on my new Nikon D700 body, it's fairly tightly cropped too :) You got it!! Do you love it? Love doesn't begin to describe it! It's amazing!
  11. Love this pic! What lens did you use MM? Thanks! I used the 28 - 300mm (I think that's it ) on my new Nikon D700 body, it's fairly tightly cropped too :)
  12. Awesome, better than any moon shot I've ever taken :D Great pics all Aw thanks CC! :D Awesome photos guys!
  13. I took this one about half an hour ago, not the best, but better than earlier attempts! :)
  14. I have always been a big dog person, swore never to own a small dog.. Well that all changed when Willow the Westie came home to be fostered! I guess with her attitude she is like a big dog packed into a little dogs body!
  15. I think it was pretty clear when spanky new pink doggy accessories started to appear in your photos with Willow that she was a FF! Plus she is so terribly cute and special that I doubt any other carer would've let her go either! Maverick is a lucky boy!
  16. This post reminded me. Council sometimes stops people fostering. Some councils are ok, and allow a foster dog over the official limit of two dogs. Some councils do not allow more than two dogs on property for any reason at all. So maybe that is why a foster failure might mean a person can't continue to foster. This is a good point, I have been lucky with my council, they allow fosters over my permit for the permanent residents. I guess some people in certain councils are maybe not so lucky.
  17. I have had 3 foster failure cats and 1 foster failure dog, out of the 137 that I have fostered over the past 4 years. They have all stayed with me for different reasons. Mouse was/is severely cage aggressive, he would literally rip shreds off anyone who went near his cage. He is still naughty, plays super rough and likes to ambush me as I walk down the hallway, I understand him and he fitted in with my existing fur-family so he stayed. Erik has Chronic Herpes Virus (strain of cat flu), every time I took him back for adoption he stressed and made himself so sick that he needed course after course of antibiotics, he was fine once he got home again.. cheeky bugger. Thomas was surrendered over to the shelter with a fractured leg, he is a bit special, not all there really, he used to freak out severely when in the cage. Willow, well she is the three legged Westie, she melted my heart, cured Maverick's loneliness and just fitted in! I don't think people should be stopped from fostering just because they have had a foster failure. If people still have the time and attention to give then why stop them giving a homeless animal some love!
  18. Or maybe the Classic is Fuchsia! Oh the decisions!
  19. I really need to get me a nice camera bag.. Loving the Kelly Moore bags! Especially this one! Does anyone have that bag?
