That's a lovely song and the film clip is great. We had a greyhound that this song could apply to. We bred him, raced him (didn't win) and adopted him out. Not long after he had a freak accident and had to have his back left leg amputated. He copes very well and loves going to the dog park and playing with all the other dogs.

What a lucky dog to have an owner who would go to those lenghts to save them I did it on a newborn pup of ours 4 weeks ago and he is doing great now. Its amazing what you can and will do if you have to.

Greyhounds 4 U sell some very nice Martingale collars they are a greyhound rescue group in Western Sydney and they will post to you. They have a website google "greyhounds4u" (sorry I don't know how to do a link). I just checked and the collars are not on the website. Send an email and I am sure Trish will send you the details they were on their facebook page not long ago.

I just found this thread. My thoughts are with you and Chase hoping for a full recovery. And you are not the only one to drive a little faster than you should to the vets. I did last year when one of mine was bitten by a brown. Score brown 0 dog 1 and a $1300 vet bill. Good luck
