Gumnut replied to The Spotted Devil's topic in General Dog Discussion
I second Vebo, they are very easy to deal with, will be getting another crate from them very soon. -
Thanks for the link Cody, it was very interesting.

Oh thank god I'm not the only one that has done it, I was sooooo angry with myself :D I certainly won't be making that mistake again :D

I have just brought the spinifex 3m x 3m gazebo, does anyone know if the Oztrail walls will fit it?

I know exactly what you mean!!!! Most of my shows there have only been one or two dogs there... so when there are a few dogs I get completely lost! 10 months in I'm starting to get a clue... although you should have seen me at the Varieties of Bichon Speciality when Lola won BIS in the Open show... and on top of having to work out when to go in or not I had to work out when to have my photo taken and ended up never in the right place... embarrassing... but anyway :p Congrats on Lola's win, that must have been so exciting :D I think it is going to take me a lot longer than 10 months to get it all worked out In fact I can see myself in 10 years still with no clue what I'm doing You'll get some idea way sooner than that, Gumnut! Even if you don't try, it kind of seeps into you somehow.... (says she who regularly misses taking dogs back in for their respective classes in group because she isn't paying attention.... :D ). I hope you are right The Ark :D

I am having such a hard time wrapping my brain around how all the classes work and when I need to go back in the ring etc. aaaarrrggghhh Lucky I'm only showing one dog at the moment or I would be in all sorts of trouble

Thanks, I have a large car so I think I may go the deluxe :D I don't want to buy the compact and then in a couple of months need a bigger one.

I paid for a catalogue but I didn't get a stamp :D Its on the back of the envelope. I haven't got a stamp on the back of the envelope.

Thankyou very much everyone for all your advice

Thanks auto, I thought that was the case but I just wanted to make sure

Weisnjac, good decision, it is very wet here with a lot of water lying around. This weather is very typical when the Geelong show and the Geelong cup is on, it always rains without fail

I know exactly where you are coming from Shellsboers, I was really worried and nervous too but the judges were fantastic and very welcoming to both my pup and myself. Go out, have some fun and let the puppy enjoy it too, don't stress. Good luck
