Thanks for the info! I'm trying to keep a list on the computer of things to look for, ask breeders etc. It's fairly long but I figure a good breeder will be happy to answer all the questions. And those mastiff's and newf's are soooo tempting. Anyone here own one?

Still trying to work out this site guys! I'm almost eighteen, and as much as I want a dog I know it's in everyone's best interest to wait for a year or so. As for breed, I haven't decided. I'm tossing up between Newfoundland, English Mastiff and chihuahuas. Odd I know

Hey I'm new to this forum. In a year or so I'm hoping to get the first dog I've ever had. so I want to spend this time gathering knowledge and hearing from experienced owners so I do everything the correct way and don't support puppy mills. Cheers.
