Pele loves them, and so did Jessie before her ;)

Go for it!!! If I had waited until we were "ready" I'd still be waiting to enter our first CCD trial Pele now has her CCD and CD titles and we will be having a crack at Open next year With a Bull Terrier you could be waiting forever, you just have to bite the bullet Good luck

Forgot to add. If you haven't already download Dr Ian Dunbars 2 books "Before You Get Your Puppy" and "After You Get Your Puppy" for free at Dog Star Daily He covers a lot of bite inhibition. Also need pics of Monte

Some great replies. This article explains most of what has been suggested New Puppy Owner Blues Good luck with Monte. I'm sure that in time she'll be the perfect mate :D Pele is the 2nd Bull Terrier puppy that we've had. I swear that she was worse than Jessie, altho' my partner said otherwise She was a pirhana! We started calling her "Perilous Pele", then it became the "Ferilous Perilous", shortened to the "Feral Peril" but we survived. Pele will be 5 in February and is almost the perfect dog Hang in there :p

Pele snarfles up the possum poo at SAODC. On our first night there I suggested that they bag it and sell it for training treats. They didn't see the funny side Get out there Jo and it collect before they change their minds

Vetmedin 2.5mg. Anyone Have A Dog On This?
Bully replied to fiery_di's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
So sorry to hear about Boibby. Jessie (now at the "Bridge" was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) when she was 9.5 years. The prognosis was "6 months, 12 if she's lucky". Jessie astounded the vets and made it to 3 years, living everyday to the fullest. For the first 6 months she was on Fortekor, then her Vet discovered a new drug, Vetmedin and we changed to it. Jessie had a lot more energy on the Vetmedin. In addition to the Vetmedin, Jessie was on diuretics. I also had her on every vitamin supplement that I could find to help her heart as well as a raw diet. Good luck with Bobby. I'm sure that once the Vetmedin kicks in he'll feel much better to you both. -
I use Filtabac on Pele's nose. Unfortunately it washes off quicker than the children's 4+ hour one that I was using. Pele built up an allergic dermatitis reaction to the human one and her nose all came up lumpy and bumpy, then scabbed over. Looked awful I've gone back to Filtabac.

I thought you were both doing great out there until COP. I felt so sorry for you, I know what it's like Even tho' you didn't pass Jess did well on the exercises that she's failed in the past so there's light at the end of the tunnel for you both. I'm sure you'll get that CD title in the new year :D

Worried About My Dog In The Heat!
Bully replied to Pete.the.dog's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I had one like that - try putting a single layer of sheet over it, worked here but no guarantees Pele refused to lie on hers too, ungrateful little sh.t after I spent nearly $50 ;) Putting something over the top of it didn't work either. Last summer my partner and I fought over it as to who would have it to put on our chair It's so lovely and cool. Silly doggy Hope the sand in clam shell works -

Love the name Elwood -
I've got Pele entered in her first Open trial on Saturday Yeah, I had a mad moment and decided because I'd be there working why not enter her and have some fun I planned on putting in 3 weeks of work into her, but then she tore a dew claw and now the hot weather so we've done zip. Think I'll probably leave her home because of the heat
