Try tinned hills a/d available from the vet. It is for critical care patients and supposedly highly palatable. It is watered down easily enough to be syringe fed (I do this with sick chooks). good luck :) Pele had this after her surgery to remove a bone that she'd swallowed back in March. She had to be tube fed directly into her stomach for 10 days. I had to water it down. From memory there is a lot of liver in it. to you and Penny :)

Someone Sold Me A Pitbull Not A Cocker Spaniel
Bully replied to Atanquin's topic in General Dog Discussion
Zorro definately looks scary to me Is he the long haired, long eared variety of pit bull from Deshonko Kennels? -
So sorry to hear Stitch I lost Jessie, my 12 yo Bull Terrier to DCM 7 years ago last week. She made it to 3 years after prognosis. It is very common in dobes, and they don't tend to last long with it. One of Jessie's dobe mates at the beach was diagnosed not long after her at Christmas, he lost the battle at Easter It's a shitty disease. to you. dogbesotted, I remember you and Jake :)

Yes, report it. It may not be the first time this dog has done this. In metro Adelaide on the foreshore dogs must be on a lead, not more than 2m between 10am and 8pm during daylight saving time. These people are breaking the law as well as having an aggressive dog. Hope your dog is ok :)

WOO HOO!!! :cheer: So glad he's home safe and well :)
-
OMG what a worry that he turns up safe and well soon. to you and your family

Phew!!! Good boy Charlie! That's a relief for you and THE BOSS

The OP may not be in the position to take the dog, and what's to stop the owners then getting another dog and the cycle repeating itself. Also, my lease states I cannot hang washing on my balcony. I assume its all about maintaining the visual image of the area. No I'm not in a position to have another dog in a strata situation and the tiniest of backyards. I've moved back here temporarily until I'm in a position to be able to sell and purchase a property with a small lawned yard for Pele. I'm lucky that she's allowed He's a lovely dog and if I was in a position to have him I'd take him and try and find him a better home. Wonder of wonders, the male tenant took the dog out while he put his bin out tonight! His ears must be burning Don't know if they've cleaned up the poo, the wind direction has changed and can't smell anything

If You Were Choosing A Breed On Looks Alone...
Bully replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
Borzoi Saluki (so regal looking) Siberian Husky Chinese Crested (never liked them until I met Yellowgirl's - they've grown on me) 5th? Hmmmmm.... too many to choose from Irish Setter I would never own a coated breed that needed grooming, just love the looks -
I've had this property and lived in peace and harmony for 30 years. The width of my property is 5 metres, so it's right next to me. The stench is ruining my quality of life and enjoyment of my backyard. I could even smell it in my dining room when the wind direction changed The council have taken photos also. The council does not have the power to take further action unless it's a commercial property!! Can you believe it

It's not allowed in my unit group (21 in group). It's an upmarket suburb and when it was developed it was a big no no and probably still is. The dog poo is the big issue with me, but the washing and cat is another point against them. The washing in view on the road side was bought up by several others at our AGM (not me) and they have been told by the landlord and they complied, until obviously they were told they were being evicted, now they don't give a stuff. Never mind, their days are numbered I just want the poo and urine smell cleaned on a daily basis

Thanks Sally and Tex Feeling much better now Still feeling very malicious tho' Got some great poo pics that I've been emailing to the strata managing agents and the land agent. The strata agent says to keep them coming It's ammunition for the next tribunal hearing. I send 2 versions - "The daily blog" with funny titles "The Scoop on The Poop", "Another Day, Another Dollop" and an up-date and warning that the official whinge/complaint about their lack of effort for the files (and not for them to take to heart)is coming :D How about "Full of Sh*t" We are back to Day 2, I'll wait a few more days for that one Ya gotta laugh about it
