YAYYY!!!!! That's fantastic news for you and Ruger

She's home now with a bag of medications, but is feeling much better :D They are fine one minute then things go wrong the next. You just feel so helpless when they get sick
-
Hope your guys are OK and you get away on your much needed after this holiday Pele vomitted at 2am Thursday morning all over the carpet so had to deal with it straight away Just cleaned that up and she vomitted in her bed She vomitted several more times and I noticed blood in the vomit. At 4am a trip to the After Hours Emergency Vet across town She's been on a drip, pain meds, anti-biotics and anti-vomitting meds Her blood tests have come back as OK. I assume she may have eaten something besides possum poo at agility training on Wednesday night. that she'll be able to come home after 5pm today. I miss her soooo much

I was hoping to get into tracking this year, but decided to push on with Open obedience with Pele. Hopefully she'll get her title and then we can do tracking as I'm sure she'll be good at it and love it

That pic of Nandi is adorable She's such a little cutie Here's a pic that I took of Pele with her prizes when we got home

Pele won "Best Tricks" for the 2nd time :p Yellowgirl and gorgeous little Maddie won a few prizes too I agree that the timing of the event wasn't good as everyone is showed out
-
Same here. I've also seen people using cc or head collars on dogs with an extenda lead I usually try and explain to them the danger to the dog's neck if they reach the end at full pelt

We'll be at the Bull Terrier tent. Hope to catch up with some DOLers

Sorry to hear your sad news Spoil him and spend as much time hanging out together and take lots of photos. I lost my previous Bull Terrier, Jessie to heart disease. The prognosis was "6 months, 12 if she's lucky" Jessie astounded the vets and made it to 3 years. Of course we started to relax her obedience training and letting her get away with things she normally wouldn't. "Queen Jess" lapped it all up and had us wrapped around her paw. She got to sleep on the bed every night and we kept up our daily beach walks with her mates, even tho' we had to shorten them and sit it out until the others came back. Good luck and hope the prognosis is wrong. to you.

Pele and I will be there with the Bull Terrier Club. Pele won "Best Tricks" last time ;) :D Then we came "Runner-up in Show" to Ness who had won "Best Groomed"

So sorry to hear about your Dad, and so glad that your puppy is helping you cope with the grief. I lost my partner of 29 years to cancer just over a year ago and Pele, my 5 year old Bull Terrier has been a great comfort in helping me cope with the grief and financial mess. Also my mother died suddenly of a stroke in February. I don't know what I'd do without Pele We still have to go to the beach and park every day to meet up with our friends and to obedience training so I can't just mope at home. At night we cuddle up on the couch together and life doesn't seem so bad, she's a great little mate

This is a good one So You Want To Breed Your Bitch - A consideration for the would be casual breeder -
Oh Dear I can feel a big purchase coming on
-
Nanas and yoghurt are Pele's favourite
-
Same here, or I can post it if you PM me the details
-
I'm considering purchasing one. As well as the Pig in Mud there is also one called Patio Link Is one better than the other? Pele is 490mm at the shoulder and the Patio Link door is 500mm so may be cutting it a bit fine height wise and probably would need the larger 650mm size whereas the Pig in Mud Extra Large is 584mm at the shoulder so might be more suitable for Pele. Any thoughts????

We are entered in Open Obedience but that's at 6.30pm.

This is something that's been on my mind lately, ever since my partner died last year. It's only Pele and me now and I don't know of any one that I'd trust enough to look after Pele the way that I do I've thought that it may be kindest to have her PTS and cremated with me. Hopefully this won't happen.
