Yeah put it on and leave it on. It will get used to it. Also make sure the collar isnt too chunky of stiff. A nice soft light collar would be best to get it used to wearing a collar.

Dog Walking Belt - Handsfree Leash For Training
Online Pets replied to Tilly's topic in General Dog Discussion
If you read the instructions with it, it tells you not to use it to attach the dog. They really are not strong enough, mine came apart at one of the seams after the first big pull from my pup, it was also the first time I had attached her to it. The area for training treats isn't very big either, you can only fit a minimal amount. Was that with the old version or the new version? The new ones come with larger size "pockets" and a carabena specifically for attaching your dog lead. -
Most of the wormers are available through "pet shops" however most only stock the more popular brand names, Drontal being the most popular intestinal wormer.

I tell this to people all the time! I generally use the comparison of feeding a child Mcdonalds every day as opposed to a balanced diet. Soooooo important!

They are both "super premium" dog foods, Nutro is an all-natural alternative. Both are owned by the same company (Mars). -
I Think I Should Stop Going Into Pet Shops :-/

Its funny how many people look at me funny when they ask and i tell them we dont sell puppies, kittens etc due to principle. Its good to hear others who agree! -
This 100%! If they know that its that or nothing they will eat it. You just need to be more stubborn than your dog! You are the leader of the pack, he eats what you tell him to eat.

RRP on the 15kg all breed is $105.95 so anything under that is a good deal. Advance do a lot of promotions with individual stores in the way of $ off or free greenies etc. So keep an eye out for regular specials. Our rep tries to work out some sort of promo on Advance/Nutro/Greenies for each month so if something good comes up i'll let everyone know! -

Wow thats amazing -
A few months ago their was a fair few dogs stolen in our area. What was happening was people were walking their dogs down to the local shops, tying them up outside while they went in. Someone was stealing them and then responding to the lost dog posters to collect any reward money!

K9 obesity seems to be massively growing problem. 6 years ago in our WA store we hardly ever came across dogs who were morbidly obese. Now it seems 1 in 5 of our customers that bring their dogs with them, whether in the car or on foot, are obese. The trouble is in a lot of cases when you try to educate the owners and tell them that their dog needs to be put on a restricted diet until their dog gets back to an ideal weight, the common reaction is "he's just spoilt, theres nothing i can do".

Yeah i thought the same thing
