  1. Sorry don't know about Cushings but just wanted to say I hope your boy is okay. Good luck, fingers crossed that he gets better soon.
  2. You're very welcome, just glad he has a better life ahead. Please keep me updated with any news of him, and some photos down the track if possible. Thanks again JRT Rescue for taking him on!
  3. Macca went to his new foster home today thanks to JRT Rescue!! Here he is 15 minutes after arriving in his new settling in enclosure. He seemed to get on well with all his new foster mums' dogs too. He seems very friendly, but will need some training. Thankyou so much Colleen for being his new foster mum, I know you will take really good care of him.
  4. He sounds like a lovely older gent. Looks like there is an offer of a home from a westie experienced Queenslander. Looks promising. Good luck Angus!!
  5. Thanks Belco Pets, you rock!! And a big thanks to chezal58 for doing such a great job looking after these gorgeous creatures, I'm sure you have some wonderful karma coming your way. Narla is a lovely looking girl and I hope she finds a fantastic forever home when she's all better.
  6. Thanks to you Rascalmyshadow for taking in the cute old papx man. I hope that the person/people in his new potential home will love Bobbie as much as he deserves. This is a fantastic outcome for these two boys, a great result which has come round faster than I could've anticipated and I couldn't be happier. I'm sure we will hear how Macca, the JRT is faring in his new foster home in due course. I look forward to taking him there this afternoon. Thanks again to everyone involved in saving these two boys - you all rock!! .
  7. I wonder if they've got a multiple dog permit. Doubt it, but it won't matter after Friday as there will be only one dog there anyway - thank goodness!
  8. Update Macca, the JRT is going to a JRT Rescue foster carer in NE Victoria tomorrow afternoon. Bobbie, the Papillon mix is going to a rescue on the Mornington Peninsula on Friday afternoon. They will be off to a much better life before the weekend!!!
  9. I generally have a storage box as my litter tray too but the cats still seem to get litter on the outside of it. My solution was to put this litter box in the bath tub [plug in the hole to prevent any litter going down the drain] and then all I had to do was use a dustpan and brush to sweep up any spilt litter once a day. If you don't have a bath, use the shower base, it's just as good. They'll probably end up sharing both litter trays anyway so having the second one close by shouldn't be a problem IMO.
  10. Excellent news! Good luck with her, I hope she is everything you want and more!!
  11. Oh dear, three years before construction even begins,
  12. All the best Narla, poor baby. Hope it isn't mastitis and you get better really quickly.
  13. Agreed - they need to cast a wider net to people who are not such keen dog lovers as DOL people.
  14. show us the photos you submitted. There you go, this one of Beau.
  15. Wasn't too hard to do - only took about 15 minutes. Thanks Pers!
  16. Great news, I'm sure it'll be an all good outcome from now on
  17. Just rang the vet. They are printing off the desexing certificate for both dogs. I'll collect them this afternoon.
