  1. So sorry to hear about your friend. I hope you find Danzig's breeder, poor boy!
  2. Hi corie, this is the photo I thought you could use. Let me know if it is suitable. Thanks again!
  3. I'm so sorry to hear about Charlies passing. I've just looked in the Rainbow Bridge topic and found that I was in hospital at that time. He sure was a special and resilient little dog and I used to love reading your stories about him. There are lots of great memories of him here on DOL and I'm sure, as you said, he is ruling his world over the bridge.
  4. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou Rascalmyshadow, that's the best news ever. Secretly I thought he looked like your kind of dog :) I am tickled pink that he is going to have such a wonderful home for the rest of his days!!!!! I think I'll do a happy dance or two!! :thanks: :thanks:
  5. So sorry to hear this Rascalmyshadow. Poor little man, he's been through so much. Will you still be able to keep him for rehoming? If not, I'm happy to take him back, to me that is, not to his previous owners. Also, had a phone call from Maccas foster carer this morning, he is doing really well and having a fabulous time playing chasey with the other dogs. Hope to get some photos soon.
  6. I just bought some, sizes 1 thru 8 incl and am going to donate them to Animals Rescues Appeal to distribute. Thanks kelpiecuddles for the heads up!
  7. Love these coats, where do you buy them? I made them myself from a pattern I drew up :) Clever girl, well done, I'm jealous  Would you like a copy? LOL, thanks for the offer but I'm not much of a sewer, {and I don't mean a smelly sewer - phew lol} wouldn't know how to read a pattern. I'm in awe of all you people that can make things from scratch! I just thought, instead of sewer I should've said seamstress
  8. I do have favourites. My favourite is the one I'm cuddling at any given time. Otherwise, I love them all equally
  9. Love these coats, where do you buy them? I made them myself from a pattern I drew up :) Clever girl, well done, I'm jealous
  10. That one is my favourite too! But they are ALL gorgeous! Thanks T for taking them in, mmmmmmmmm puppies!!!!!
  11. So sorry kirty that this happened to your girl but really glad that Toby is okay, at least physically! Some people are just morons!
  12. Oh no, nothing was mentioned to me by the previous owners regarding that! But I guess they wouldn't have even noticed if he did have a seizure as they spent so little time with him. And my guess is that if they did notice him having one, they probably didn't know what it was and ignored it. Hopefully it's only mild and he won't need meds yet, ie if he is diagnosed with epilepsy. Both my iggies are epileptic and each of them have regular mild seizures around once a month. I'm keeping a record of their attacks and will see the vet if they increase in frequency or get worse. Fingers crossed all goes well for him. Other than that, how is he settling in? ETA - I will see if I can find out if there is any known history of epilepsy with him from previous owner and the local vet.
  13. Thanks DD, I need all the help I can get, in more ways than one!
  14. For a while he was just happy sniffing around and eating grass. But after a while all he wanted to do was to get out and play with the other dogs.
  15. Thanks for sharing, sure put a smile on my face - just too cute!
  16. Hey Rascalmyshadow, Just wondering how Bobbie went on his first night with you. Am hoping he was quiet and settled for you. Such a sweet boy
  17. Oh WOW Rascalmyshadow, He looks sooooo clean and white instead of grey. I'll bet he smells a whole lot better too  Again, thanks for taking him in, I know you'll find the best home for him to live out his days.
  18. Well, I just got home a half hour ago from delivering little Bobbie, the Papillon or Pom mix boy to rescue with Rascalmyshadow. He was extremely dirty and smelly but he was very well behaved on the 2.75 hour+ trip it took to get him there. He is a real cutie and was very friendly and waggy tail when he met Rascalmyshadows' dog/s. She says that he will clean up a treat so I can't wait to see some after grooming shots of him. Unfortunately I forgot to take some before shots of him but believe me, he was very dirty, daggy and smelly. Good luck little man on finding a new and wonderful forever home. You really do deserve it. :)
