  7. Oh no I'm so so sorry to hear that Pepi. Your angel eyes put up a great fight for you but he must've known that it was him time. RIP Pepi, Now you can really watch over your mummy and be her true eyes. I'm sure he will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge!! Big :D to you.
  8. I think this thread was all about the broom. Yes that's it. I've got one and it works great ie when I remember to use it Another costless option if you are feeling energetic that works for me is put on some rubber soles shoes or slippers, I use ugg slippers/boots and slide your foot along the carpet. You'd be surprised how much comes together in a ball of hair. Also, I recently bought a bottom of the range Bissell carpet cleaner on eBay for just over $200. I was sooo amazed at how much cat hair it picked up and how clean it got the carpet. Works a treat. My cleaning lady couldn't believe how well it worked and is getting one for herself.
  9. Less than 24 hrs to go italmum till you meet Christian [the dog that is ;)
  10. Thanks SecretKei, great website, lotsa stuff!! Have bookmarked this one
  11. I tend to agree with you, but seeing as my dogs are little, I've ordered two and will try them out. I only go short distances anyway. I've recently got a crate for longer distances. Under twelve dollars for the two incl postage so not much lost if they are no good. May get one Petbuckle to compare. Just been trying to find Kramer tether online but nothing. Where did you get yours from and how much?
  12. My seatbelt clip is probably too hard for the dogs to undo, it is hard even for me to press. I might get a couple and try them out anyway, for the price, not much lost if they don't work compared to $29.95 each + p+p for the Petbuckle one. Can get them if all else fails lol. http://www.mazda.com.au/Models/Current%20m...s/Interior.aspx
  13. Just spotted these pet harness seat belt tethers, what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=180480093840
  14. My new girl was almost going to have a name change to 'Hoover' as she just breathes in her food so fast lol!! Scoff stoppers seem to be a bit pricey, maybe I'll go to the $2/reject shop and look for cricket ball lookalikes. Hopefully that will slow her down a bit.
  15. He is awesome, looks very much like the little CKCS girl I adopted when on a working holiday in NZ thirty years ago. She was handed over to the pound as the owners couldn't be bothered with her any more and I took one look at her and couldn't say no. I brought her back home to Aus with me and she lived a grand and spoiled life. I still miss my little 'Lady". Don't bother buying a bed, of course he will be sleeping in a peoples bed :D
  16. Congratulations italmum, finally things are looking up!! Linky please to see a photo of Christian.......
  17. Just had a look, this is only a crate cover, crate not included...
  18. I just bought a 30" two door, black metal with divider one on eBay about two or three weeks ago for $32.00 + $20.00 postage. Brand new, bargain!!!
  19. I think poodlefan and persephone's posts are great ideas and both are a fairly quick and easy solution...
