What Is She!? And Whats Wrong With Her Skin?
iggy mum replied to Megs's topic in General Dog Discussion
Poor little mite. I'm sorry I can't help with your questions but I just had to laugh at the fourth photo. It looks like the rear end of an armadillo.... -
I've heard that if you put the dogs name on their tag, and if someone unethical finds out the dogs name, it can be easier for said person to steal/grab the dog as it's more likely to come to someone if called by name. I always thought it was an old wives tale but sometimes wonder if there could be any truth in it. Any opinions anyone? I've got a pet register tag on my dogs, nothing to identify dog, me or address etc. Is this enough to protect them?

Recommendations For Boarding Kennels
iggy mum replied to Sandra777's topic in General Dog Discussion
I've used Kismet Boarding Kennels/Cattery for my cat, a few years ago. I was able to visit him every day and they took him to the airport for me when sending him down south. Lovely people, I was very happy with them. Kismet Boarding Kennels & Cattery 96 Formosa Rd, Belmont QLD 4153 (07) 3390 4801 And it's not too far from Camp Hill either only about ten minutes away. -
Anyone Needing Accom During Flood Water Riseing

Yep I have a spare room also, could probably take a couple of people and a couple of doggies if needed. I'm in Gippsland too not too far from mortonplace!! -
Unfortunately my sewing skills leave a lot to be desired. I can fix some things, like restitching a seam, attaching a button, very simple things. But, when it comes to actually making something where I have to cut out, measure, put together - not a chance in hell lol!!! I'd rather leave it to the experts as I would waste so much money ruining material and having to do it again and again and again.........

Gday 'Iggy mum' Yes he can make dividers for the back where the seats can either be up or down, but I know the quality would be alot better than the ebay one, plus it would be custom made to your car for a snug fit! What kind of car is it? and I can get you a price Mazda 2 and price/quote - yes please!

For the last couple of days I've been looking on eBay and Petitude at the pet barriers. Example Linky Is this the sort of thing he'd be making? I don't need anything fancy like dividers and lockable doors etc, just something to keep the dogs off the front seat and in the back. I want something that will work with either the back seat in the normal upright position and also for when it's folded down into the station wagon position. Don't know if that sort of thing is possible. And what about price?

Thanks, yes Vebo has them. They are made from polyester [umbrella material], not quite what I wanted but they are cheap [small $8.00 - XXL $16.00] so I may get one anyway to use in the interim. Probably a good think to have on standby anyway. Thanks gemstone!

I saw a lot on eBay but I would like to know if you can get them made from anything other than canvas, as that's all that eBay had listed. I would like one to cover the crate whilst inside, probably made from fleece or something similar for warmth/privacy, rather than using a blanket. Or, does anyone here make them?

I just put it in my yahoo calendar as a recurring event and send myself an email reminder each month.
