  2. they will probably just make them have shelter and clean water and pick up the pooh
  3. I agree. Kennels aren't what I deem the right place to live out a life either
  4. What a beautiful thing it would be to have such a place
  5. Any more details of this location?? I don't know the area It's not far from the Ham St park. After visiting Ham St - head back up to Macquarie Street and head all the way to the end until you get to Windsor Rd - there are traffic lights there - turn left and head over the bridge - as soon as you cross the bridge trun left at the seafood restaurant and drive thtough to the car park - there is a little beach there and the dogs can have a swim It's only about a 10 min drive. Follow the signs to SINGLETON lol - just remember to turn off as soon as your cross the Hbury River lol It is a good beach. If you have 2 x legged kids it is safe for them also. Big dog and ppl swimming area No boats or ski's or anything like if you go swimming with them at Nepean end
  6. Also the beach area at Windsor on the River for a swim
  7. LuLu is a 3yr old GSD She belongs to my Mother in Law My Mother in Law is going to Serbia for 6wks in July and needs to have LuLu looked after We don't want to use kennels as poor LuLu has already been at Guard Dog Training Centre twice in her life and I believe this would stress her out LuLu loves ppl and is a little weird if you ask me, but has never had alot to do with other dogs. She does ok with my male Rottie and I am sure she wants to play. I can't take her to my house. I have 4 large breed dogs and quite a dominant female and her and LuLu will go at logger heads What we are looking for is a dog Savvy person who possibly doesn't have a dog of their own anymore, but would allow LuLu inside with them for a 6wk holiday It would be a paid service and food would be provided.
  8. I agree, it isnt winter yet and the days and nights in Sydney are quite muggy. Mum is a Husky and will provide plenty of warmth for the pup. As long as mum is feeding pup and not abondoning her then she will probably do ok.
  9. Hahaha! Zeddy did the same thing to my ex once... she scratched a bit of skin off her side trying to duck under the back screen door while he was opening it to let her out - so she dodged around him and came yelping to me for sympathy cuddles. Needless to say I still have Zeddy, and the ex is history... lol! T. Sounds like it was a wise choice too. I hope I never get asked to choose between my girls, and my soon to be hubby... Could get nasty LOL!! If I remember correctly didn't he pick Sasha for u?
  10. We incinerate humans and nobody complains The animals need to be disposed of and if it is build correctly etc then no problem here either. Either that or they go to landfill and think that is worse
  11. Have u got some rescue remedy for her? I think little miss Sashy is spoilt lol
  12. I am more then likely going to have 3 x femaile Japanese Spitz come into foster care 1 x 4yr old 2 x 5yr old All from a registerred breeder
  13. As much as I love my Rotties This isn't very good at all Poor little kid
  14. Sorry about your darling Cat I remember losing my precious boy 3yrs ago now He died at home and my Rottweiler that he grew up with layed beside him and cried I had wrapped Bart up and layed him in half a crate so the dogs could lick and kiss him farewell To this day my dogs are cat friendly and want to smother any cat they meet in kisses I had no thoughts of getting a new cat. I just missed my boy so much, but one day a big ginger boy was crying under my car. He has been there ever since. My dogs Love Jeremiah to death Sorry for you loss.
  15. Go to Bob Jane when they have specials on tyres lol that should keep him busy
  16. It if isn't an off lead park then she needs to have her dog on lead when there is other dogs around. Simple as that. Or maybe should could invest in a lunge lead. They are long enough that the dogs can still romp and play

  19. I just worry about those poor boy dogs getting a complex lol
  20. Ok, I am asking as I have no idea why. Why, do poodles have to have their fur cut in a certain way? I have had poodles in care that aren't cut and I love their fur.
  21. Sounds like the Samoyed instinct got the better of him Kind of like me on a diet and learning not to eat chocolate Most of the time I do fantastic but other times you couldn't stop me if you tried lol Silly pooch, but great everything is ok

  23. I hav 4 x dogs 2 x normal weight and 2 that are overweight Just before Christmas I filmed with them for a TV show on obese dogs in Australia and why dogs in Australia are overweight Being an owner of overweight dogs and being overweight myself. I don't think people should be dragged through the mud and treated like they are bad owners because of this. Maybe they should be educated. None of us know circumstances and lifestyles of people Most overweight dogs are overweight because their owners "love" them, but like me I have been loving them in the wrong way. I have a fat Rottie and a Fat Lab Besides being overweight they are in good health They are now closely monitored and my Lab who was weighed last friday has lost 2kg Do I think I am a bad dog owner? No I don't I love my animals and will do anything for them I just don't look at their sad deer eyes anymore Just my thoughts is all
