  1. He used to use the plants and film from a nursery at Glenfield My friends father in law runs it and they hated having him on set as he was very rude and used to put the staff down and treat them like they new nothing Most of the staff were horticulturalists also and not morons like he treated them

  6. She may be Please offer ideas I dont think she has had a good life There are old rope burn marks on her back legs and scars on the back of her neck and down her back that look like self healed open wounds She is 2-3yrs old and very loving dog, but not sure why someone would do that to her.
  7. This Darling dog called Tess was saved from Lithgow pound 2wks ago Chrissy is the pup and just a fat little oompah that melts your heart Afghans4me brought her to foster care and often helps out with Lithgow dogs. Thanks heaps Julie
  8. There is always beautiful working dogs in rescue with all work done and probably at a 1/3 of the cost. That is always an option as well Hope she finds what she is looking for
  9. My dogs go to a huge off lead area every day and 2 of them would chase down another dog given the opportunity. If there are other dogs at the end we use, we go to the opposite end. We also both have lead with us and are very watchful. If we see dogs dog close with their families we put our dogs back on lead. I think my dogs should be allowed to go off lead as long as we are responsible and watch them. In saying that though. There is an older man who walks a little scruffy at the same park and he persists in coming near us and our dogs. I have had to hold my shepherd by his collar and yell at the man to pick up his dog and not come near us and he says his dog just wants to be friends. That is all good and well, but my shepherd doesnt want to me friends and I dont know how many times I have to tell this man. there is also he Greyhound man who purposely comes to the same end of the park that we are at and wants to walk his dogs near us So if we are being responsible and keeping an eye on our dogs then why can't people stay clear of us if they see us?
  10. Well I live in St Marys, NSW and if anyone happens to use or go buy Baronia Park and they see a Oompah Loompah Rottie walking around then he is mine and I have given up and left him behind lol
  11. I am 100% sure there is no injury that it is pure bad behaviour He has no issues running out the front door and off the verandah and into the back of the car with the other dogs. Again, last night ran around the oval without an issue but even with treats (which he never refuses) would only get back in if he was allowed in the front seat I will still take him to the vet with me on Friday but he is not impressing his mother very much
  12. Here I am yesterday in the back of my little Corolla with a Shepherd, Rottie and Lab and the big tank Rottie in front with my husband We may have to use treats to get his fat butt in the car, but I hate he gets a treat for being a bum ache We would never leave him, but at times it is tempting
  13. He is spoilt by my husband and the chosen child. So I just wonder if he is being really naughty because he can.
  14. Seems to play fine and get on the bed without an issue it is like a tantrum, but I do have to take our old Lab to the vet this week so he the Rottie may as well come for the ride also. As long as he will get back in the car, but he does get sore pads. He is one of thos compulsive lickers. I will have a look tonight to see if they are annoying him again.
  15. My 4 dogs go to the park almost every day for a run The last couple of days our Rottie is refusing to get back in the car He is being really defiant. The only way we could get him in yesterday was let him in the front seat otherwise we were going nowhere He is 6 and this is the first time we have seen this behaviour

  19. I know of a awesome rental property in The Blue Mountains but that is a bit far for you :D Pre-requisite for the property is that your MUST LOVE DOGS as she has about 5 and also has horses and birds etc but it is on acreage. Great property and beautiful spot. Owner lives in a 2 bed house attached to the bigger 4 bed house and the yard is mammoth. Easy half fenced acre to contain the animals
  20. Is there a template or something that those of us who would like to help, but don't have all the relevant facts etc can use to send to this email address please? Many would love to help, but don't know where to start or how to help. Has anyone tried to email? It comes back Out of office until August
  21. Once again the world has gone nuts Tango looked like a great dog I don't get though. If QLD said he was a pittbull to start with and he is being boarded in NSW where pittbulls are banned. How can he stay in NSW without causing a fuss in that State? Just feel sad for Tango and amazing people for putting up a fight.
  22. I will J Just thought someone might have one just laying around they dont need anymore
  23. I have rehomed a beautilful older dog in western sydney She needed a quiet home and she is now with a lady and her autistic daughter.
