Ooh, I'll try that one. My main objective is for her to eat her dry food on its own. She HAS eaten it once, and I could she that she didnt think it was bad. I think that because my mum always gives her fancy food that Dora is waiting for a better option. Thanks for the tips, any others will be much appreciated!

I started on science diet and was great to start, but then both my kids suddenly stoped liking it so I switched to Eukanuba and havent had a problem since. Have you tried mixing it with something yummy like fresh meat just to get you furkid interested again. Ive mixed it in with everything that I could think of.... Dora just eats around the dry kibble bits. Was that ever a problem with you? Like, she just licks it off.

Yep. I get the filthiest look from Dora everytime I make her go out, but I stay there until she pees so she basically has no choice. She was better when she figured out that we'll stay out in the terrible rain till she does her business, so now she just shoots out, trying to get it over and done with as soon as possible

Mia Freedman Article In Today's Sun Herald - Do Not Buy A Puppy
insertcoolnamehere replied to Katdogs's topic in In The News
Puppies are definitely hard and tiring work. Impulse buys are a no-no when it comes to anything, ranging from dogs to cars. I agree with her, puppies ARE hard work, and an impulse buy isnt the best idea, but is an impulse buy on a shelter dog a good idea either? -

I found naturally smoked pig trotters today but didn't purchase Ivy any as I wasn't sure how fatty they would be? She's sensitive to fat. So I'd be intereted in any answers too .. What are pig trotters? -
Your thoughts? Dora loves them, but I'm not sure if they're that good for her.

My pup sleeps on her bed at the foot of MY bed. Bed's are really the strictest places she's not allowed to be in/on, apart from the garage and parents and sister's bedrooms. Okay, that's about half the house. I'm 15, she's never jumped up on my while I was asleep, if that's what you're worried about. Just make sure that your 10yo knows to show your dog where its place is... Use one set of rules... if the pup isnt allowed in your beds, he's not allowed in your 10yo's bed, etc. OK, I rambled for a bit there. But I doubt anything bad would really happen. Hope this helps

That's hilarious! I too sometimes wonder how some of the positions can be comfortable -
THis will probably not help much, but I just wanted to say how beautiful Mollie is. I am not too familiar with Huskies, but have never seen one of that colouring! All the best.
