Wondering if anyone else is having trouble logging in to Petplan. When I go to log in, it accepts my Username and Password but says my registration number is not on file. I cant get in to get the puppy insurance for the pups leaving tomorrow. When I go in via the link they sent me in the conversation it says it is not there and when I ring the 1300 number it says it is no longer registered to this company. Anyone know what is going on with them?

Oh dear Kaffy, keep us posted on how he goes. Oh and good luck with the interview, poor thing is probably the last thing you feel like doing.

Mine were about 3 weeks old (border collies) and it was a gorgeous day, they werent that impressed though. We more happy at 4 weeks.
-
Must be scary for you Kaffy. Why dont you get on to the Myotherapist that Stolzseinrotts recommends in Melbourne, speak to them on the phone and maybe get a recommendation from them as to who is near you. They may be able to help point you in the right direction.

Allerziet - You could also try cammomile tea? Has a calming effect. If it is continuing and it may be her uterus contracting, the vet may give her some pain killers for a couple of days, how is she today?

Same here, gorgeous babies. My first lot leave on Saturday, so sad

Definitely dont want to the take the chance then that what ever is causing it could cause permanent damage. Let us know how you go!

Does not sounds normal to me and no I dont necessarily think there would be other signs if a spinal chord issue as like all parts of the body it depends on what part is affected. I would be getting him to the vet asap especially if he is your stud dog (even if he isnt I would take him regardless).

Thanks Lynai and Swayd that was my giggle for the afternoon. Just wondering, could you give her some rescue remedy or even camomile tea to calm her down before hand? (Havent done it so not from experience, just know it works for other situations)

I had a similar situation with my litter, I had only one choc girl and 4 people interested in her. Although I think all of them would have given her a good home I chose the person who did agility as she is a very outgoing pup with heaps of energy to burn, I told the others she was unavailable, one decided they would like a black and white girl instead, one said that they would wait as I may have another litter in another 6 weeks and one said no they would look elsewhere. You have to do what is right by you and your puppies. People do have their preference on colours for many reasons. The people who wanted the choc girl but took the black and white wanted a choc as they had lost a black and white at the beginning of the year at the age of 15 and they just thought it would be nice to have something different but in the end they decided that they just wanted another dog in their life and it didnt matter what colour it was. One of my other owners had a black and white and red and white and wanted to add a chocolate and white (all pets). Another had a black and white male who is aging and wanted another black and whtie before he got too old.

Ok so I finally got my photobucket account so going to see if this works: Nope that was hopeless back to the drawing board

I have had the same trouble with one of my bitches, at the same time I have had another bitch in season. I had her prog tested and she was smack bang on, no tie etc to an experienced dog that has had numerous litters. This happened twice. This time my other bitch came in first and got pregnant. She didnt come in with her. She came in 3 months later and had a tie with a different dog. We are only 3 weeks down the track so not sure if we are successful or not but it did seem like she had a "full season". PS I would try both next time if need be, new dog and vet. The other dog that you may try is he near by? If one doesnt work you can always try the other?

Congrats on the babies!! That is an extraordinary effort! Hope they all grow big and strong. SBT- LOL at your son. THats funny. You might need ear plugs for hte snoring!

Ours are 5 1/2 weeks here and going great guns. On 3 meals a day, mum has had enough of feeding them but still wants to be with them. Cant have one without hte other! have been meaning to post piccies but been busy. Will try over hte next day or so.

Whoops.

My Lucy tried to hop into the laundry cupboard, so I put a top over her box too and she was happy. Hope it works for you!
-
I would stay with her too. If you dont have any rescue remedy and you have some cammomile tea you can give her some of that to try and calm her a little.

Been a long night. Was about to say she is ok, but not so....back to the vet. She isn't well, poor darling. Injections are working but they don't last if she feed pups. So i am home for now, armed with more injections to give her and she is to not feed her puppies till we get her stablized. Vet saids maybe bring in 1-2 pups tomorrow and see how she goes. At this stage in time i am going to be bottle feeding 6 puppies by myself. Thinking of you Cavalblaze

Good luck Cavalblaze - hope the injections work for you and no more trips to the vet!!

Damn it Jetpoint!!!! Aloysha, they are gorgeous little babies you have there. Glad the oxy has helped with the milk supply.
-
Oh dear Fordogs, sorry to hear that. Rest in peace little one.

Make sure you come over to the border collie thread too, we always love new members and seeing their new babies!!! Im with Showdog. We dont stop unless pup is restless, if they are sounds asleep happy, no point stopping, as soon as they wake up and are getting restless then we stop. First pup I stopped every now and again and he didnt do a thing cause all he wanted to do was go to sleep. I wouldnt worry about treats either.

This same person contacted me via email, I asked for her phone number to give her a call about a puppy, I also asked who she was getting the bitch from, she refused to give me details of either! Very strange indeed. Why wouldn't she give me her phone number.....because I will not guarantee her a puppy! But lady I want to talk to you about a possible puppy. Guarantee me a puppy and we will talk! Bye Bye, try someone else lady! There are some very strange people in this world. Block her off your email.

Good luck Jetpoint! I can imagine how you felt at 4:45am this morning!!! Will be staying glued.
