Jax woohoo for Badger thats great, hope it continues. Didles - great idea for the fake grass. A friend of mine who lives in a unit got some as her entire backyard was concrete - got about a 1.5m x 1.5m square for her CKCS to go on and it has worked a treat. Loving all the photos - Lola piccies please.

Oh Didles congratulations on your decision. I really believe that he must have come into your life for a reason and that reason is probably so that you can give him the best life he could have hoped for. Enjoy your little man. Cant wait for piccies

Jax - I know this may sound strange but do you stand around with him outside to make sure he goes to the toilet? I only say this because I had a girl who would NEVER go to the toilet whilst you were watching. I learnt in the end that if I went inside and just let her be she would go (must have needed her privacy). Maybe that is why he goes inside cause he can find a "quiet spot" where nobody can see him. Just a suggestion

Didles - I really wouldnt like to be in your shoes and i suppose the longer you have him the more attached you are getting!! Littlehoot - Good luck for today - photos asap Poppy - Lucy is 5kg at 10 wks old. She has definately been the smallest pup of our borders however she is growing so fast. Her parents are decent sized dogs so she should hopefully mature to a good size. Am contemplating putting her in the show ring - but not positive. Niques - How is your baby going? I know there is someone else I have missed so sorry if I have missed anyone - we seem to be moving very quickly these days!!

OMG Sally that is amazing. It is a shock when your baby has a baby at that age!! I would think as long as she is mothering the puppy fine then you dont need to do anything real special except increase the amount of feed you are feeding her just to give her a bit of a boost. Wow I still dont believe it. Any idea on what hte father would be? Have you phoned the people you got her off?? Mostly I suppose enjoy your suprise as much as possible and give your girl some extra love!! Good luck PS - I agree put this in the breeders thread as different people have different experiences and may have some more tips for you

Oh Didles what heartbreak for you. How was it not picked up by the breeder though? or the breeders vet when he had his immunisations? Welcome Jodi. Look forward to sharing your journey

Oh Didles I am so sorry this has happened to you, I cant believe it. Not knowing what the problem is, but is there any chance you could keep him and the breeder pay for the vet bills which is what would happen if you sent him back?

Welcome MAD - dont worry there are heaps of people here waiting along time for their puppies. I had mine on order since June last year and picked her up a week and a half ago. This thread keeps you going!

It is really hard for you to know what to do. You obviously dont want this happening to anyone else - but it will be so hard and painful to get anything done about it. What does your gut say?

And the worst thing is there was no way you could prevent it. Unless you actually lock your dog inside all day - it can still happen. Must have been someone that "knew" it was there. So sad

Thanks Red Ruby - we think she is gorgeous too. We live out on the land on a 4000 acre farm so hopefully no one will steal her!! it is so awful that people do that sort of thing. You must have been devastated.

Jax - well done Badger - he is so cute. Red Ruby - 3 well at least you have all the basis covered. Lucy generally doesnt wear hers as she is so little I carry her when she goes to the vet. Will put one on when she is a little older Waiting and waiting to see how Didles went

Bel - Ummmmmm my guess is...................... ALOT - my god she is huge!! Decided to go get my girl ultrasounded today - have to take the pup for her immunisations anyway so thought I might as well get her done and put my mind at rest
