Hi all well brittany decided to finally eat thank god, she is back to her normal self & back on the royal canin, no more rump steak lol. i think she was just soooo exhausted, most of the pups are doing well these 3 that i am gonna start topping up with substitute formula, going to get some today, I really didnt want too, i have tried putting the smaller ones on first & leaving them on mum for a good 1/2 hr before i put the others on, but doesnt seem to be helping to much, other them that all is good, I gave britt a bath yesterday & a nice massage & she loved it & looks like a polar bear....... rebane . sorry to hear of your loss.....I agree cavalblaze first 2 weeks are so crutcial

Gawd that is unheard of LOL. It is powdered? hey BB I got the powdered one, I went & got RUMP steak this cooked it up to smell yummy & nope she wouldnt eat it. SO TOUGH LOVE here it comes .... I put her outside with the other dogs, they thought it smelt lovely, I then offered it to her again, knowing she had the other dogs around waiting to pounce, she did eat some of it, so i guess its better then nothing... so I will just keep feeding her outside with the other dogs around until her appetite picks up

HELP!!!!!!!!!Hi all i need some advice, took britt to the vets yesterday for check up, did ultrasound & some afterbirth retained, they gave her a shot of oxy however nothing has happened, her temp was fine, she isnt eating hardly anything am giving her nutrigel & she will lick it off my finger, she ate a liol chicken yesterday & a small bit this morning what am I to do am scared her milk will dry up, the only thing she will eat is the dry liver treats, I also noticed this morning there was drops of red blood. would this be from the oxy?? as it wasnt that red before she had THE SHOT it.....will ring vet this morning, when they open.. pups are doing well though goin to go & get some milk replacement to top them up.... BB got the fernugreek, however she just snuffed her nose at it I mixxed it in with the chicken, very frusturated & worried,

Good idea BB. We had a bit of a issue last night, mum wanted out to toilet so i went in and attended to the puppies and assumed hubby would let her outside. He pushed straight passed her and locked her inside and we had a lovely green running poo all over the cream carpet. The smell was bad enough but because of it's liquid form i had no choice but to scrub it out as it is in the kids play room, lol...yuck.. Puppies are 6-7 days old today so new photo. Baby blue is gaining about 10-15 grms a day were the others have just about doubled thier birth weights. CAV THEY ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! nicely marked too, my girl had 9 last night & early today

OMGGGGGGG just did a head count & had to recount 3 times to realise she has had another one 9 now people dont want no more

Congratulations on your eight early arrivals! Hope she hasn't retained those placentas though. How is the "Little Miss 180" doing now? will take her to the vets this morning, finally got her on the nipple

i got my 8 5 girls 3 boys heaviest 300gm smallest been last girl 180 she is struggling a bit on the nipple though brittany is exhausted poor girl i am guessing she still may have 2 placentas not sure she eats them so damn quick, fingers crossed for you missy
