  1. They have the solution, they are happy no problems. They want to be together in Charlies" crate,so now you have a spare crate. When my lot are happy I'm happy. I do hear you but does this really matter.
  2. Thanks every-one Urine Off it shall be.
  3. What a sneeky lot you all are Thanks every-one
  4. Thanks MM I did do the google but was not assured re the specific reason i wanted it for,I have heaps of cleaners, thus reason for posting hopefully others have had both to compare etc. Double the quantity for less re the Simple Green....but.....does it do the urine clean-up as apparently the Urine Off does.
  5. Have seen Urine Off recommended by many on forum,I called supplier to order & they recommended Simple Green instead, question is has any-one used this,if so were you completely satisfied?I wanted "some-thing" to remove the urine smell from carpet mats that my lot just lie around on during the day,I had been buying new mats every other week as I couldn't get rid of the urine smell no matter what i washed it with. Thanks
  6. What does SM stand for? Silly me! ;) I have just rang the factory and (jean) says this is the reps No 02.43344273 Mellissa Mellissa then puts the order through to Jean at the factory.I asked what SM stood for Jean didn't know. I paid $34.00 for 5 litres of Talc, the blocks are 90 gram $3.10, 200gram $6.00,postage to Brissy was $10.65 Can't wait to get it.So for all you frustrated emailers call Mellissa. I would say they are all going to have a prosperous few weeks thanks to VJB and all us Dolers
  7. Hi VJB, I rang all the Brisbane numbers that were listed for this Ozona, most had never heard of it,some said they had it years ago,the rep doesn't visit or has changed. I have emailed Odour-go twice so hoping they will respond......surely this week, can only hope. I have a mobile bar so can't call this rep,but I can call std ? Oh I see there is a number,I will call now. Thanks again

  12. What-ever "Off Topic"means???? But I read same inquiry the other day & you need to have had 150 Posts, betta get crackin girlie
  13. Thanks all of you. I was probably not fast enough getting my finger out. I'm always checking out puppies mouths, you know how they can change so I try keep an eye on them.
  14. Young pups are often pretty good about just being put in the crate with the door closed. One of the best applications for the crate is to have pup crated in the bedroom with you. Set your alarm for, say, 2:00am. Wake up and take pup out to toilet. The next night, set the alarm 5 min later. After a little while you can have a young pup sleeping right through with no accidents. For this to work the crate must be the right size, not too big (and not too small either). Thanks Aiden, I get the idea, just stretch it our over a period of time until it will wait all night.
  15. Mostly this is how I've done it over the years, but this 3 month old pup last week,well....I just couldn't prise open her mouth & when I did her teeth came down on my finger, every now and then there will be a very determined difficult one.
  16. Thanks Aiden, Bit off topic on Marshie and on to Crate training, I have a 3 month old Puppie and I am giving this crate stuff a go,never heard of it before DOL! Any-how I have the cage in the laundry where she sleeps of a night,I have treats and a toy in the cage to encorage her to venture in and just leave the door open, the question is if & when I close the door I would think that at 3 months it would be too much to expect for her to stay in all night ie. re-toilet break,at the moment I leave newspaper on laundry floor and she is really good as she does it there not just any-where. Marshie actually never started his rattling until 5 a.m today, so when he didn't do it for 5 minutes I rushed out and let him out for the day.Maybe his hormones have settled down and he is back to himself again.I taped the door with duck tape between hinges last night & tonight I will also put a taup over it to make it more difficult to do,I would really love a sleep-in....soon! I actually put Marshie in a crate the first night he arrived here but all that did was stress him out,& me,I eventually put him in a play-pen with my bitch until he was more comfortable as to where he belonged.Been quite happy in his pen and kennel until this episode.Mind you if more latches doesn't solve this problem I am stuck as to what to do,he will be going to a boarding kennel for when he is not allowed to mate,if he does this every time.
  17. Look at the Revolution you have started, Who says one person cannot change the world!Only takes one to start it rolling.I'm as excited about this nearly as much as I am when a new litter arrives. Thanks again PS No where to order and pay direct, only email them or am i blind
  18. Let me know if this is the case Jacqui,we are all getting very excited about this product.Be nice to spray carpet mats etc.rather than toss out and buy new all the time because my dogz won't go and get their bottoms wet on the grass. As "we" all know once the urine smell is on the mats they will continue to use it to P on instead of to lie on.
  19. What flavour did you get? Looks like some-one needs a distributorship here in Aussi-land,where is it coming from?
  20. Don't know what to order Talc or Lavendar, love Lavendar smell.....how did it go?
  21. Thanks B.W. PS Want to change my Avatar pic through photo shop, and yes I forget how I get it over......too much to remember when u only do it the once, working on it!
  22. I'm sure some-one knows where there are the posts with the the DOL language....I want to print it out!Other wise I read posts and wonder what does this mean, too many to remember. Thanks So glad I joined the DOL Forum so helpful even though I get a deversion every time I'm here & it does take a lot of my time, bit of an addiction.
  23. Forum Member I am my witz end as to what I should do.One whole end of my pergola is sectioned off with colour-bond for the fur kidz and their kennels. My male is always the first ready and quite willing to go to bed.During the day they are free to roam, used only to sleep in.Three weeks ago my bitch was in season,so brought her inside.Male really performed by scratching on the colour-bond gate & howling, didn't you hear it ! Let him roam free ,put the bitch back in the kennel run, that was no better,he started scratching on the out-side of the gate.Male back to the kennel, bitch inside house again. Got over those two long weeks, ever since although they are now together in the kennel run he is still continuing to rattle the colour-bond gate, starts probably 1-2 hours intervals after he has been put to bed, then has another go at 2a.m.before the 5a.m.rattle, at this stage I let him out.I am in residential,if I was on acerage perhaps I could try ignorance. The gate is attached with 2 hinges, top & bottom to a post therefore all the noise is when he scratches where it is slack in between thus the noise.I have put up a heavy duty play-pen on the inside of gate and surround but he manages to pull this around& out far enough to get between it and the gate.I have threatened water to no avail,he just ducks into his kennel. I have just read some "crate" links,if I tried this I think he would howl the place down,I need to correct this behaviour asap , I want some sleep, can some-one else give me some ideas as to what they did in similar situation, as to what I should be doing. He is 3 years old& I have had him for 5 months, great little dog in all other aspects, just wish he would settle at night .Yes,he is a Cheeki-Chi Thanks folks P.S. Had another look at colourbond fence gate,I will add another 2 brackets to stop the slack,it is only about one metre high,so hope to hear from some-one in the meantime with a better slant on this for the long term. I had this posted under behaviour & some-one suggested to put it under "training" so now I have. This post has been edited by bridie: 26th Apr 2010 - 10:05 AM
  24. Thanks tt, I suppose the howling was due to frustration,I should have been the one howling To think a little 2 kilo dog could have me stumped as to what can I do to stop him!Thank goodness females are on heat once every 6 months not once a month. Yes,I "will over-come" with every-ones help, tonight I will put a tarp over the gate, perhaps he won't be able to get traction on the gate against the post. I shouldn't have to clip his nails for awhile
  25. Yes,yes,I was running out there to stop him all the time, can you imagine it ....rushing out there, just get back to my bed and I would go out again, drove me crazy, "we" have to think as "they" do,I'm sure it was becoming a game getting me up & Marshie then just ducked back into his bed..."It wasn't me,I'm in bed!"I stayed out there on more than one occasion instead of running to & fro. Last night I duck taped the gate & whether he was doing it during the night & it just became looser during the night I don't know,I don't think it did,the racket started at 5a.m. so I don't mind that, just let him out for the day.He probably did this this 7-8 times this morning & I waited until there was a break before I then let him out,not on his command ...so to speak.I know he behaves during the day as I'm home apart for the shopping.Trying to think deep, perhaps he doesn't like to do his business in there?,not that that would account for the goings on during the night.Perhaps he has reformed as quick as he started this,I can only hope. I will put post in the Training thread,some-times don't know where to put it re "behaviour"Hoping Erny or one of the others on Training & behaviour may have some tips for me. Thank you for your tips.
