I missed the video.. soooo cute..the tail is going hundred miles an hour

Such sweet pics. I love seeing cats and dogs play together. Cats are so affectionate and dogs will put up with just about anything. In regards to my de-clawing comment, I didn't even know the procedure existed until I watched that Animal cops show on Foxtel. How does a cat be a cat without claws? It's insane, yet American's do it as commonly as desexing apparently.

It amazes me how dogs can just keep fighting. If she were human there is no way she'd have survived. It looks like she has been without food for a very very long time I just want to give her a big cuddle and juicy steak.

I won't let my pug near my kitten because of the eye thing. Same goes for my cavalier.

All kids are weird when they wear costumes.. my kid wears Spiderman costumes all of the time and does some real strange stuff LOL Glad nothing bad happened.

I never just pat a strange dog on the head.. I let them sniff my hands and I say hello in a cutesy voice first and then ask the owner if they mind a pat. Then I stroke on the head and scratch behind the ears and pat on the back.. oh and a scratch on the base of the tail where they are always itchy but can never reach.. if you scratch any dog there they melt and are instantly wrapped around your finger Ollie doesn't like to be touched at all on the head.. he has always cowered.. not sure what the issue there is but i have never seen a dog cower from people unless abused.. I doubt he was abused at the place he came from, so yeh.. maybe there is some truth to dogs not liking it *shrugs* Miley on the other hand loves a stroke and kiss on the head and loves me grabbing her ears while I use my silly smoochie voice her tail wags so hard she starts dancing.

Hi Andrew, I hope you are taking on board our suggestions on a longer holding period.

I also agree with Kirty. There are also many shelters and pounds in Victoria one may have to visit as most wouldn't just trust that the person on the phone who claims no dog fitting that description has come in. For example, I rescued a kitten a couple of weeks ago and had to leave details of the kitten at 4 shelters, 2 councils (I am in one and near the border of another)and the RSPCA. If I was looking for my pet I would need to visit each place and there are only so many hours in a day. If I visited 1 each day that would already be 6 days worth. This kitten was also not yet microchipped and wore no collar. She was only 12 weeks old and may have escaped the same day she was bought therefore the owners wouldn't have had a chance to get the chip yet. Kitten are also known for taking off their own collars and many people don't like to use a collar on a pet so young because of their rapid growth and risk of it becoming too tight on the throat overnight.

It seems like the pup would have been less than 6 months old for sure. How could they PTS a baby???? Pure bred at that!!!!

I still don't understand their thinking allowing her to own 3 dogs when she quite happily starved, neglected and walked out on 140. She's obviously not a dog lover I guess they figure she wouldn't bother owning a dog if she can breed from it and make money off it. Oh and $9k..come off it.. I know people who have done time for shop lifting or not paying parking fines. -

100 dogs were saved and re-homed. There's only so many resources that can be used and there are soooooo many dogs in need. I doubt the staff at the RSPCA take putting to sleep any dog lightly, but I am afraid every time space is kept for dogs they know they won't be able to rehome, or will be back in a few days because they are Hudini's, there is a dog which could be re-homed but not given the chance because of lack of room and resources. -

Cavalier Sold To Pets Paradise By A Registered Breeder
HugUrPup replied to sugar's topic in In The News
All seems a bit fishy to me. My in laws got a puppy with a heart condition and she had surgery I doubt the person selling her paid $10k for the surgery.. she was sold for $150. If it was a registered breeder why haven't Pets Paradise returned her to them anyway? -
You're feeding her everyday and giving her exercise and love and attention. Ignore the know it all's if you can.
