I am broke. The money I have is to pay for a car service and for storm damage. I CAN NOT spend it on a 10 week old Cavalier, no matter how beautiful he is and no matter how much I trust the local breeder (where Miley came from). I DO NOT need a 3rd dog. I don't I don't I DON'T!!!!

Stray Pit Bull Saves Woman, Child From Attacker
HugUrPup replied to RottnBullies's topic in In The News
so lovely -
@ the eaten Bunny Stormie, I wouldn't induce vomiting on my own. I think I'll stick with the vet to do those sort of procedures
-
Miley has loose ligaments in her knees, but they aren't causing any problems. She also reverse sneezes a lot. Ollie is 100% fine when he isn't stuffing his belly full of food
-
They tried some crystal stuff and it didn't work so they ended up giving him epimorphine by injection.
-
and he was looking for more
-
I haven't heard of Uncle Albers before.
-
He could barely breath he was so tight the poor thing. They got out around 6 cups full of kibble and he looks normal again They said he would have been in huge trouble if I didn't bring him in, so I m glad I phoned. They also said, water would have torn his stomach, so it's good I didn't give it. $95 later and I have a happy healthy dog again. Thanks everyone for you help and advice

The vet wants to make him vomit
-
I'll phone the vet.
-
Thanks for the advice gspmadhouse. I'll do as you suggest. I feel comfortable just keeping an eye on him myself and giving him sips of water every couple of hours. The weather is crap so no walks, but he is still able to move around ok and still able to jump up on the couch.
-
I remember the worming treatment saga.
-
he is still looking for more food the mad dog. I'll give him some water once he starts digesting. Maybe in 2 hours. I'm scared of giving him water now because the food is still in his stomach so it will expand.
-
Oh crap..water or not?
-
Thanks Anne LOL I look forward to all the poop OK he is water and food free for at least 2 days.
-
how do I make him vomit?
-
I was sick in bed all day and my kids stayed home My son decided to feed the dogs. When I came down stairs there were 3 large bowls FULL to the brim of kibble and a very bloated pug. Ollie looks pregnant and I am afraid of giving him water because the food may expand. What should I do? Does he need a vet?

Should Aggressive Dogs Be Taken To Offleash Parks?
HugUrPup replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
It depends how much control over the dog the owners has. Some larger breeds when wanting to attack will get away, so the muzzle is a good idea...especially when at an off lead park, because even if you go there and are on your own, you never know when someone else is going to arrive and you can't always call back an aggressive dog once it catches eye of another.
