  4. Poor Gabrielle. Thank you for allowing her to feel a little love before her early departure.
  5. She is beautiful! Happy birthday Ricky!
  6. Yeah, I know was just having a laugh at earls expense!
  7. We use fish oil and joint guard. Have been using the fish oil for quite some time but only started the joint guard on the first of june. The fish oil is just the cheap stuff from a pharmacy, so humans can also take it. The joint guard I ordered online and was over $100 (cant remember exactly) but seems it would last a long time.
  8. Ha Ha, but I cant seem to find it on the last photo....
  9. Yep photos are a must. I want to see the Earlmuffin!
  10. Oh poor grey I have one already (plus another dog) so I can't take her.
  11. Nutro Senior is being phased out because of poor demand. I had a thread on this a short time ago.
  12. :D What more can I say... ETA I just had to hug my dogs
  13. How cute is that! to you too lynda for being part of the SES
  14. I wont be able to make it this time. Unfortunately I have to work again Hope you all have a good time. Sorry to hear your news about Ruger Miss Squish
  15. Poor Sid, I am sorry he has had to go through this. Is your husband ok, you said his jeans were ripped? I haven't had any direct experience in this but I think you should definetly report it to council/rangers. Take photos like someone else has suggested and maybe get some legal advice about the owner of the other dog. Even though they have been ringing and seem concerned now, things could change once they find out the total bill.
  16. I as sorry that your family is going through this. I could only imagine how distraught my daughter would be if our dogs went missing. Have you sat down as a family and explained (age appropriately) what has happened. Have the children been allowed to cry and show their frustrations? Have you put up flyers, made phone calls to show your children you are actively searching for your dog (did you do this in february)? They may find your suggestion of a new dog too soon. Maybe there are some books you could borrow or buy that help explain the situation better. Your children are obviously sensitive, caring children who care about their pet, which is a lovely quality. Unfortunately it comes with some heartache.
  17. Thanks JulesP I emailed Nutro and they have suggested their lite as a substitute. Apparently it is the same but without some vitamins of the senior.
  18. As far as the digging is concerned, could you provide her with a designated digging area. Maybe a kids clam shell filled with dirt/sand. Hide toys in there to encourage her to use it and do as others have suggested to stop the digging elsewhere?
  19. Thanks Stitch. We still have at least half of a 13kg bag left of the nutro, so will finish that off and hopefully I will come up with another brand.
  20. Abbie is just gorgeous! I am soo happy she found you. She looks very relaxed in the first photo
