  1. Certainly is a fantastic buy, as it is the same price the stockist pay for them although they have to pay freight. The seller must be the wholesaler! And has possibly came up with a better design and ofloading stock or even able to produce them cheaper ! Great for us guys, not so good for the Stockists, although i would imagine that Houndbags won't have too many stockists after this. Maybe fakes and not from Supplier in Victoria
  2. Apparently snakes can't climb shade cloth so you could use around fences. Also Point to note about the snake repellers, you may have problems with resident snakes ( snakes already living in the area, i.e. under house or in a shed etc ) They are best for snakes coming into or through your property, so i guess this could be why pet snakes are unaffected, but i assume it's not pet snakes you are worried about. Good luck with it all
  3. If you are still looking for them their is places that sell them cheaper than $160, google sentinel snake repeller
  4. You can hear the buzz noise they make so can change the batteries once they go flat. Also use better batteries than the ones that come with the product.
  5. Just wondering how the e-collar would help if the snake came into a dogs yard/run?
  6. Iam convinced they work! But I am sure others on this forum will tell you they don't. You will just need to make up your own mind, Personally i wouldn't risk not having them. What type of snakes will be in your new area?
  7. Such a Gorgeous Pic.. Is that a telletubby without a head??
  8. I can't stop crying this is an unbelievable story. How much for the domain? I would be interested if no-one else has already.
  9. Hi NicGSDlover Where did you get yours from? I was looking at them around the net and there can be a huge price difference. Sue PS I left the quote in hope i did it right!!!! OzPetshop.com.au - it was a fair bit cheaper actually, $32 + $5.50 postage to me in Brisbane - vs $39 + $6 postage from the houndbag website, but i had a good look and it's definately genuine. I haven't dealt with this website before but looks quite good, only ordered yesterday, but will let you know how soon it arrives! PS let me know how long it takes to get it..Hopefully only a day orn 2 max!

  14. Friend of mine had her Dog bitten twice in 5 days last year, so she got the snake repellers to protect her property. She placed snake repellers every 15 metres apart ( about 8 of them ). She was seeing a snake every day for about 2 weeks, and hasn't seen one since. I know she said the aussie python website said they didn't work and they even put a utube vidoe to show them not working, problem was they didn't actually install them correctly ( not deep enough ) they also held the snake for nearly all of the clip until the end, and it was a pet snake, also you couldn't actually hear the repeller working. So she thinks it was a farce. Her husband calls them the Elephant and snake repellers and they haven't seen either since installing them ( other than 2 red belly blacks about 250m away at one of their dams. Although She say's we will only ever prove they don't work, not that they are PS they Little dog survived 2 x Brown snake bites in 5 days, ( third bite in total ) although not the same since. PPS she had Insurance and they paid up both times no questions asked.
  15. I have insurance through RSPCA, and have claimed heaps..No Problems... one of my dogs has even reached a limit this year. Ring you bank and cancel the Direct debit and also complain to your bank if you do not get any refunds due to you. Good Luck

Hi We have used Britex - Not bad Electrodry - waste of money ( didn't clean and actually smelt funny after ) We purchased a cheap shampooer from the vac shop ( can't remember the name ) and can clean up spills straight away got it o special for $99.00. We used the Plowman and the shampoo as well and its really very good value Have you tried nil odor in the tank, we did helped with the smell. But i have to agree on ripping up carpet as the best option if it is continuous, and don't buy wool carpet it is the hardest to clean. Well i hope i have helped. Good Luck
