  1. wow thats a great idea!! i want one!! i have a gas tank in my boot so i cant fit a large trolley in there anymore but this would be perfect!
  2. This is raw/natural chit chat and i decided to change to raw because of this thread - it took me a few days to get through it though so u might want to print it out and read like a book hahahahaha http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...;hl=raw+feeding Good luck and pm me if u want to ask a question
  3. they were all pretty good i will have a search and find a link for u brb
  4. my boy is a JRT and he has like 2-3 a day but he is on a raw natural diet so he eats alot of bones and raw meat - i suggest looking into a raw diet if u will have the time and dedication?? do a search on here there has been a billion topics on raw feeding have a read and see if u think its a good idea for ur situation?
  5. Drop the pal asap that is like feeding ur puppy mcdonald's everyday - u wouldnt eat like that so ur puppy shouldn't - its easy and cheap but its really not good for it at all and as mentioned above she is a large breed so her diet at this age is soo super important, it would be better to feed her a premium dry alone then the pal tinned IMO - until u get the freezer that is Necks will be gone in about a second flat lol
  6. in future try to keep some quick stop or somthing similar in the house, but anything like the corn startch or flour is good anything that thickens the blood to help clotting
  7. hope she is ok i would do just as u are - withhold food and monitor water intake, and definatly go back to vet for a check up if she isnt improving. Let us know how she goes good luck
  8. Never tried the Laube ones but i keep hearing good things and bad things so i will have to try one out and see for myself
  9. Dsam i missed the boat lol i was going to say a Leo as well they are great with other dogs as long as they are socialised and being a dog person u would have known that already lol The loe i know is about 7 mths now i think and close to full grown in height and she plas with a little french bulldog and a JRT and it is so cute she has to lie down sometimes cause she is so big hehe i love her to pieces

  12. Beautiful puppy u have found urself! Look forward to some more of ur lovely photos of the pair
  13. hahahah sooo cute!! My friend has a border collie that is a water baby and he disappears out the doggy door and comes back dragging wet muddy feet through the house and he is saturated from head to toe... we r looking at him like where is there even that much water??!! hahaha
  14. It is horrible watching something like that happen! i understand - i was just being dramatic lol Glad he is ok the poor little man Bones are good for dogs so do keep giving them but make sure they are RAW and of course much lager then that one. i think u might need a swig of something after all that to make u sleep haha
  15. AARRggghhh... that was scary... i hate these posts!! when in doubt pls dont post GO TO THE VET!! I swear u people will give me a heart attack at 23! as above watch him very closely and vet if it isnt better... maybe try larger bones in the future??
  16. We have NEVER turned aw y a dog to date! i am so proud of that fact we have been very lucky - there was one... but we managed to work with him and now he is an angel and i ask paw? and he hands it to me... this same dog took 3 of us to pin down just to trim his feet... he is the size of a shih tzu... I would only turn the dog away or refuse if the dog was clearly making itself unwell - if the dog is making itself sick then i would say noway it better for the dog to be sedated, otherwise i take my time i have been known to spend a few minutes one the dog and then putnit away and come back later took all day in lilttle bits and pieces but her it worked and the owner was rapped Cat muzzels or an elizabethian collar for dogs with a lack of face hehe works a treat once u learn to work aroung the implament hahaha +1!!!! i believe that that a dog should enjoy being groomed and feel like it is being spoilt rotten with soo much cuddles and hugs from all the people at the groomers salon it shouldnt be a horrible experience that the dogs hates, it just makes life harder for u and the dog and nobody wants that. Patience is the key for grooming - i never used to have it until i started working with dogs now i can be known to be a saint hahaha And most of all try to remember that it isnt the dogs fault that it hates being groomed... its the owners or a past groomer, or dodgy breeder...etc etc Dogs can always improve
  17. Kennel cough is usually more of a gagging sound and is much like the common cold so the antibiotics are to lessen the symptoms not to cure the illness. There is nothing to cure it other then time and as u said rest, i have seen dogs with kennel cough for about a month though it was very mildly, we give a childs dose of benadryl and sometimes natural remedies, some say manuka honey works also. But IMO this is the reverse sneezing kennel cough is usually very apparent and not so far in between episodes like this has been described
  18. I think DOgs in motion is the best one out of the 2 above. They helped rehabilitate my aunties border collie after a stroke like attack left him a quadreplegic - now he can walk again... not very well but hey he is moving and gets better everyday. They are great there and very helpful
