i just read tikis mums post about kangaroo patties for a staffy pup - how old is she cause if u read the box kangaroo isnt good for puppies its too lean :s im not the best judge but going by her weight she isnt that young but if she is then i would swap to beef or one on the others until she is older

wow i have never heard of using curash?? i read its a powder?? Interesting we get a few at the kennels in summer due to the swimming pools we have there i will have to give this a go

Just my 2 cents ... don't do it unless u have to, the vet is correct and if done by us thety wont be able to do it naturally Many groomers - includiung myself dont do it anymore... for above reasons and also that if dont incorrectly there can be many problems like infections and impactions - NOT PRETTY lol leave them well alone and he will be fine - as for them making the dog smelly its more likely to be diet or skin issues

i have a Maine Coon baby and he is like a dog hahaha he loves my dog and doesnt understand that not dogs will lick him to death other may want to eat him!! but i would say an adopted oldie might be the way to go or if u really like a certain breed u can contact some breeders they usually have older queens or toms who are to be desexed and rehomed due to retirement - my kittens breeder has a stunning girl who has been desexed and is waiting for a furrrrever home hehe i wanted to take her but one oversized cat is enough for now hehehe

Last i heard he was being chased for stealing cars all morning so they think he has grabbed a car and taken off but they know who he is and where he lives so they get him but they are unsure that this is the only weapon he had with him so fingers crossed and stay safe people PS that lady on fire thing was HORRIBLE!

first thing that jumped out at me was - he is 9 weeks and u got him 2 weeks ago... was he 7 weeks old when u got him?? Not really a good thing.. but as said - laundry is freezing and echos and would be scary crates can be found pretty cheap on ebay occasionally so maybe keep an eye out there??

if all the animals are showing the same reactions - swap vets?? maybe she is missing something and a different set of eyes will help?? seems that there is definatly something wrong and they are just missing it - too much of a coincidence

i see so u mean because they are used to hunt in packs now... well i think that all dogs came from pack animals, having said that some dogs just dont get along with other dogs of the same sex - i have really only seen this with entires though and not particular with breeds in my experiences. not much help sorry hehehe

JRT X and he is 15 and nothing wrong with him other then slight arthritis in the back legs but he jumps around like a little rabbit hahaha he is on a bit of joint formula with dinner and raw food and he is a little champ!

from my understanding - struvite crystals can be caused by infections... infections can be caused by holding urine in a full bladder too long?? Oks correct me if im wrong people but sounds ot me like u should find another vet and get a second opinion.. I read in ur OT that u boy was stuck under the house and didnt go to the toilet for quite some time so this seems to be a big part of the problem and if my assumptions are correct then the specialst diet shouldnt be needed... i would say antibiotics to clear the infections and maybe the special diet till there is no signs of crystals anymore - though she only said signs of crystals? then i would say put him on a raw diet though i am biased and nopt all are able to do this so maybe just a high quality kibble would do.. Would be getting another opinion for sure though this vet sounds like she might be taking u for a ride if she doesnt like u learning for urself?? just my 2 cents lol

Hey i know ur 2 furkids i believe i have looked after them at all breeds kennels?? i hope they are ok poor little guys are sensitive souls! hope ur ok as well! we have been robbed as well and we caught them in the shed trying to break into the gun cabnet :S Didnt make it in though thank doG!! Get well soon Noah like u said it could have been anything - we had a cocker come in the other day that had a limp from zoomies - quite a bad one i must say she was bairly weight bearing on it... crazy dogs!

she had organised it and so we assumed that they knew what to put it in or had something there she brought from them... we had never doone anything like this before and had no idea... was very sad but we got him a box so the owner didnt get her baby in a carbboard box!! Ur box sounds lovely!! i am thinking of organising something for my Beau, he is doing well but is 15 and at this age it can come from nowhere, and as he was my grand parents dog and they passed away his passing will be that much harder for us i think so would be nice to not have to worry about the rest i guess i wish he could live forever

not sure about this specific ointment but i know there is a product called super cleanser and it is a shampoo - i have used it on cocker ears after long term treatment with drops and all that gunk has come out a treat if u have time to give a full bath give it a shot??

I was going to get my cat done by Dr Stephen Emms in Camberwell vet clinic - turns out wasnt a full rupture and healed but he since has done my boys feamural excision was wonderful has only been 3weeks and he barely limps anymore! He is great and i know he has done millions of cruciates as the waiting room is always FILLED with clients who absolutly adore him - great work just incase u needed another vet to do the op

i will have to find the name of the one a lady asked us to use for her dog that died with us at the kennels - he went to the vet - body that is HE was free and roaming with his mum somewhere - he was express posted back to us to await his family coming home from their emergency trip... in a cardboard box with his name plastered on top... Horrible... he has a little box now as that was just too wrong to hand the special little man over in... ill post the name when i find it if i can so u know dont use them lol
