anyone know the GWP results?

the goldens were great today Low entries though... Stormy is a stunning boy and deserves his win! great day out with the judge picking great type and often the same lines in most of his winners Im a very happy camper!!

i have also always followed the warm wash then the cold rinse- ie warm water to open the pores and hair shafts during washing and sard on really bad stains then when u do a final rinse do it with as cold as water as the dog will stand and it seals it back up?? pls correct me if im wrong

he does talk alot of crap but like it was mentioned above he promotes buying a pet shop dog and u say BOOO( and so we should!) but then he tries to do the right thing by exposing puppy farming to the general public and ur not happy with that either?? which is it?? I did like that he made a point that breeding ur pet is not on with the little pug and explained risking lives of aniamls and what not... dont get me wrong i hate the show and the crap they feed the public but her if this thing he is doing is showing puppy farming the the public then i wont say no, it can only help our cause IMHO

I would suggest maybe starting Arch in another run with just one dog then when he is confortable add another and so on until he is comfortable rather then mobbing him with 10 + all at once, though he is large he is still a baby after all so slow would be better IMHO. better to build up to running with the pack ETA: love the pics there are some really nice ones up there and i cant believe i missed meeting that stunning little bubba!!!! cuteness overload!

i may have a bag of artemis to give away soon (cat variety lol) as he is having trouble on it and it has been 2 weeks now with no real improvement ;) i think i will try Nutro next as he had some as a kitten and loved it and his coat was nice then

Student of mine copped an ear full after she told me she is breeding minature aussie bulldogs.. i said they dont exist... she disagreed and said pedigrees are just paper... man i let fly bahaha Her bitch is the size of a pug... mated her to a large british bulldog... and she was suprised only one up survived and bitch nearly died... the pup was smaller then my thumb but pulled through.. She told me they use frenchies and pugs with the bullys to make them smaller, i couldnt believe what i was hearing! she then claimed its because they breath better??? WTF!!! I asked if she health tests and i was informend that they went to the vet?? What kind of vet approves a bitch that small for mating to a dog that big?? apparently the vet is interested in the puppy... if this is what we are working with here what hope do we have? he is just as messed up as her! Some people cant be told i was so angry i had to walk away before i strangled her... Will they ever learn?

i worked in the NAB animal nursery last yr and many times had to tell parents i apoloise but i am not here to look after ur child i am here to protect the animals from them! It never goes down well! Stuff them they need to learn some respect! And i agree breed stalls like at pet expo would be better and each breed club could do a stall and decorate it and had out info... and people could offer their dgos that way once they are done in the ring it doesnt matter as much if sticky fingers touch them and we will be able to keep a better eye on whats going on.

sorry if repeating but i havent read the whole thread yet - My boss feeds a leonberger the prepackaged BARF and they give it to the greyhound as well - easy as all u need to add is the oils (omega blend) and their bones, they get turkey wings and drumsticks chicken carcuses and drusticks necks and wings.. anything really lol tend to give poultry as the bones as it is easy to source and is lower in fat content then most. The barf patties come in many kinds of meat and contain offal so nothing needed to add... though they get a fish meal once a week usually a large tin of mackeral or sardines in oil and an egg every now and then

bahaha i think about 99 percent of labs and goldens look like that! they run and dive into even the smallest puddles one boy who comes into my work does it on the grass until the grass turns to mud LOL creats his very own puddles!

i would do an intro through a door or even better glass or flywire first so they can smell eachother and see eachother without being able to get to eachother and like golden said treat for nice happy calm behaviour and correct for any staring, stiff, aggressive behaviour. I would do this a few times BEFORE the dog moves in just to be safe and i would think from these interactions u would be able to gauge if a muzzle is needed on not but always on a short lead and dont trust the dog for a long time, he may be calm and friendly but the dog is not only meeting the cat for the first time but he is moving in with new humans and and smells and routines so he will be all over the shop for quite some time

Thats because there isnt any These people think that the outside is just too dirty for their precious babies I just think its sad that is no life for a dog... Hope they enjoy cleaning glass as well i saw those walls and wondered about my rear sliding door and the slobber all over it bahaha They do for extra as mentioned above... though many kennels in Aus have this same policy - we just ask everyone thats brings in entire dogs.. why isnt it desexed? and then lecture them about any breedng plans and what not...

Dr emms at camberwell vet clinic is good and i have seen all sorts in there boxers rotts and beagles all at the same time lol and my poor cat heheh they are a general vet clinic and dr emms is a ortho specialist as well so got it all covered there lol and the nurses are great Not sure about consult cost or anything caus ei got the specialist rte of a billion and one dollars a minutes lol but i would recommend them to anyone

we have a few dogs that come to the kennls on a capsule tablet called restoracalm which seems to work well but not sure here it is from :S also our natropath at the kennels sells a products called calm u put it in their water or i think u can do food as well not sure about that one and it is really good! and all natural! site is www.naturalanimalsolutions.com.au

i live half way between diggers and urs lol so i know the drive and i can imagine it would be horrid for u but it is worth it! last time we were there till like 4:30 in the arvo lol swimming and playing in the sand
